ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Pacers 10/14/2022 (Preseason)

I’m not saying Silas doesn’t deserve any credit. What I will say is that last year Green worked extensively with Weaver on film, it was part of his job. Silas then mentioned how he worked so often with Green on film while taking credit for Green’s improved play. There was zero mention of Weaver by Silas.
Some of the assistant coaches didn’t like how Silas handled being a head coach last year and were quite happy to move on.
Often times Lucas was mentioned by players and others before Silas when discussing coaching and Lucas had a lot more responsibilities and control than other assistants. This year they added Hollins to a similar role on the defensive side.
Other than being a very pleasant person and good family man, I haven’t seen anything that makes me believe Silas is long term an above average NBA head coach.
There is some other stuff I don’t want to get into but it has been noticed by some around the league.

 

He has put in the work this offseason and it shows.

 

I wonder how much time Tari is gonna playing after Tate coming back.
