Im pretty excited about watching this game Live.. Ive never seen J Oneil play and im curious whats so special about this guy..

Yao has been playing extremely well lately and when he does well the Rox do well. People keep mentioning when Yao is having a good game the whole game changes in favor of the Rox. Funny ive been noticing that too.. when Yao dominates he does better on both ends of the floor (naturally) but his teammates also seem to be better. More open shots/ better passing/ better rebounding.. Yao seems to make his teammates better or they are encouraged by Yaos play im not sure which way it leans.

I like the way we match up against the Pacers our back court is kind of small but our front court has the size advantage.. not height (well height too) but size .. big bodies in the paint I hope Cato plays tough Def on JOneil and limits his touches and boxes out good too..

I'm wondering how the Rockets are going to win big. Oh I know, give Yao the ball!!!!
Boston tried the front on Yao, it was exposed dramaticly as a fraud defense and will work only once.
Hope Bill Walton is doing the game again, who wouldn't want to hear "Throw it down big man, throw it down"

Another hot team, on national TV? Rockets stop the Pacers in their tracks. Rockets by 15. Yao sets up career high 32 points.

Actually, this is the kind of defense Yao has trouble with, the short but fast & physical defenders, who always like to front Yao.

I'm not very comfortable about this game, but I wasn't comfortable about the Knicks's game either.:D

Maybe we are scheming and have figured a plan to trick Cato into getting on the Pacers bus after the game and also trick Harrington into getting onto ours (granted the plan doesn't work because home teams don't usually take the bus, but we could leave Cato in Indiana).

I see a Rockets win, even though the EG expiriment failed miserably (ok, nothing to do with the price of corn). Each time I recognize the EG expiriment as failing, it is a nice little buzz of therapy.

    Rockets 87
    Pacers 82

i like j oneal, but i want to see yao punk him.

this is the 2nd best team in the league right now and yao needs to step up tonight. how he plays decides if we win or lose. yao dominates...rox win.

Pacers stopped Yao in the low post. Let's see how they react to Yao in the high post. Yao has a personal grudge against the city of Indianopolis because of China's loss at the Worlds. If he continues to respond with aggression, we could pull this out.

    Wow, that is amazing.

Is this true? Do you have a quoted source for this 'information'?

Or are you just making this up because, well, it just seems like it OUGHT to be true?

I hate to say this, but I have a feeling this will be a really boring game. I think Indiana is the 3rd or 4th best defensive team in the league, and other top 5 defenses (San Antonio and Detroit) haven't let us over 70 points.

but those other games Yao was a non factor.. (losses) if we can feed the ball into Yao at the right spots and let him score we should be fine.

This game depends on Yao.. without him we would have no chance with him we do..

I hope everyone brings their "A" game tonight and we crush the hell out the Pacers and send a message through the league..

WATCH OUT THE ROX ARE COMING THE ROX ARE COMING. hehe

Go Yao! Go Rox! Go Super Duper Backup Bench Brigade!

    Yao - 44 pts/ 20 rebs/ 14 blks 18 - 20 FG plus FT's

This will be his statement game against the hottest team in the league. If Yao dominates this game everyone in the league will take notice and fear us. =P

    oh hahaha.

    J

do you guys get together to watch the games somewhere? Im planning on getting some Rox fans together to watch this on TV! ummm... but in San Francisco we Rox fans are few..

if all the trade proposals start up again maybe we can do this trade!

Rox Players (all of them) =>>> go to Golden State and all the GS players go to Houston! we throw in 1 3rd round draft pick.

=P damn you guys are soooooo lucky in Houston maybe you dont know how fortunate you are I would kill to have the Rox over here and call them the GS Rockets! *has a nice ring to it doesnt it? GS is the home team out here but theres no player I feel like rooting for.. *sigh

well my point is at least appreciate you have an awesome home team.. there are many cities and fans that would love to have them inconsistencies and all.
