More than 10 years after the championship, people still believe management can do it. Face it, it is extremely difficult to get the right players at the right price. If it is so easy, Knicks should win multiple championships. With the luxury tax constraint, Rox has to do well in the draft. That's why Rox should not win today.

for those of you feel "excited" about the win, you think like a loser of the losers. Nuggets didnt care about the game. It's like a friendly game or even just a practice for them. They didnt play in full strength. Under this kind of games, it's meaningless if you scored 100 or 2 points. It's meaningless if you win or loss. If nuggets are still fighting for the 8th seed of the playoffs, then I would somewhat respect the win but still feel upset. Now it's just a bunch of losers acting like warriors. Ultimately, they are still losers when it counts.

This really stinks considering I have hada feeling for a while that we will somehow beat San Antonio to end the season.

I can't wait to read VG's comments after this game. I'm all but assured it's going to replace my G. Dubya's r****ded sig that I currently have.

I like alfords game personally, but i just hope reddeck is big enough to not get saddled with the same problems (Lack of quickness). I remember my high school coach showing us a video of alford and his drills. He was amazing.

I completely agree. When the games count, Alston is getting abused by Mike James and Howard shoots 42% on his wide open looks.

How can we get anything from this win when Denver literally gave up? Melo didn't play at all in the 4th, even though he wanted to. No Miller either.

Trying to win games at this point is the easy way out for JVG. Make a freakin sacrifice, place your ego to the side for once. Do the smart thing, not the right thing.

6-4 isn't a BIG Guard anymore. For a shooting Guard in the NBA it's on the short side!!

hmmm....the lakers signed a pretty big free agent to win their 3 championships recently, and the pistons were entirely formed by free agents. the spurs got a miracle in the lottery and got duncan. maybe we can get a miracle too.

would i rather have a pick 2 spots higher? sure. but we dont know who the hell we're getting anyway. this draft is unpredictable enough that there's no telling what kind of player we're getting. we are looking for complementary players though, not studs that are going to be the best player on our team.

rocketfat,we are looking for good role players in a weak draft. The lower we fall the harder it gets.

I think 6'4" is fine. Unfortunately, Reddick being that tall is most likely quite a stretch. I seriously doubt he's taller than Luther.

Well, if we lost the rest of our games, we would have had the 6th worst record, meaning we would have had a very good chance at the 3rd draft choice, according to the chart. Now with this loss, we have the 7th draft choice (my fault for saying 6th). I don't think the teams that we need to pull through will pull through, meaning we'll likely end up with the 10th or so draft choice. Carney could drop to 10 by then, hopefully.

Truly. I remember watching Alford play for Indiana U. I didn't much like his coach (Bobby Knight) but I couldn't stop watching because Alford was bloody incredible. But even then I knew he was doomed in the NBA. Just too short.

Redick might make it. Our team is perfect for him.

like i said....would i rather pick 2 slots higher than wherever we end up? sure, but i'd say this draft has about zero cant miss prospects. is it that much of a no-brainer guarantee to you that the 7th pick of the draft will be that much better than the 9th pick this year?? you have to catch lightening in a bottle in the draft. there are no guarantees.

7 spot: nene, jason williams, tim thomas. 9 spot, same years: amare, dirk, tmac.

there is no telling people. for all we know, we are lucky to be dropping 2 spots.

I agree with you rocketfat that there is no guarantee that the 7th pick would be better than the 9th but this looks like a pretty weak draft with not many good prospects. I do agree that there is a chance that a player who falls might turn out to be better than a slightly higher pick.

What the f'ing hell is the matter with this team? Why cant they do **** right? I'm for firing Gumby now. That guy is a piece of crap and does not do a good job leading or representing the Houston Rocket's franchise. Juwan? Way to come through when we least needed you. F'ing loser and that's all you'll ever be.

    Trade em all.

But the main problem with Luther is that he is too SHORT!
