ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Nuggets 4/13/2008

at y'all all crazy over this game.

we own the nuggets. this game is just one of those games where nothing goes right for us and everything goes right for them.

 

Easy

1. This game probably means more to Denver than to us.
2. Denver is at full strength, we are far from it.
3. And finally, Denver is playing well and taking advantage of our current state.

 

Obviously it means more money for the NBA to have AI and Melo in the playoffs than a bunch of scrubs from GS !! Maybe the Rockets were told " you better tank this one for the league !"

Mike Harris is NOT a friggin PF, he's a 3.

Your solutions and b****ing and moaning are weak. None of the guys you mentioned would have helped us tonight.

 

Either we suck or we're tanking.

Don't see why we'd tank, and I hope we're not going to suck this bad come playoff time.

No matter who we play it's going to be a tough series, I'd rather be a lower seed and not get embarrassed by losing to a low seed. (if we were 2nd and lost to Mavs, 1st and lost to Nuggets, 3rd and lost to Suns, etc.)

 

If you cant win a back-to-back Dever, then you cant win anybody in playoffs.
What?Jazz?

 

I just hope this isn't a result of us actually trying to win but I guess this is just a once in a full moon game played by the Nuggets (I mean they're actually playing defense)

 

Unless Utah turns around and loses to San Antonio after beating the Rockets.

luckily they aren't doing this at the 2nd half. if we can go at a run, we'll be okay. hopefully we stop doing these cheap fouls. they are killing us at the line, even if they are missing a handful.

 

We are tanking! Luther at the point? No Brooks? Jackson and Battier could play! Are we really this confident against the Jazz?

 

This team isn't trying to win, the effort is sad.

 

1) I do agree it means more to them, but there's a lot at stake for us, so we shouldn't be THIS lackadaisical.

2) We destroyed Phoenix the other night shorthanded. So I don't think Battier's absence justifies a 17-point halftime deficit.

3) They're not playing that well. We're bailing them out with turnovers and fouls.

 

For the people thinking we are tanking, forget it.

We are just playing bad and Denver is as hungry as ever.

 

we aren't tanking this game....we're just losing it. our team came out weak tonight...end of story. hopefully shane and bjax are getting rested up. in all honesty, i would rather play the lakers than the suns or jazz.

 

You mean Dallas and San Antonio.

 

Will the Rockets make a game of it in the second half or will they hand the game to Denver on a plate?????

 

We didn't concentrate in the 1st half. 2nd half things will be different.

 

Damn we better win at Utah and take that HCA. If we lose we will have the same record as Jazz. And than a final game against Clippers.

The win at Utah would be the best one, very needed
