Wow, that was weird. the reason I posted 2 times was because my original one didn't show.

I had to manually refresh the thread to get the new posts to show. Strange.

the nuggets losing last night was a blessing and a curse. of course anytime they lose it helps us, but they will be a lot more focused tonight coming back home and facing the rockets. they could have even had the dreaded "looking ahead" syndrome.

last game ron played terrible in detroit without tmac and shane.

hopefully the two headed monster can hold Melo in check and birdman doesnt get away with fouling too much on Yao.

Yup plus before the Kings loss, they blew a 19 pt lead against the Jazz. They'll be hungry for a win. We need to bring our A game.

Without K. Martin, we should have a better chance to beat them. The key to win this game is to slow it down, do not let them run and run.

If we pick up the Cav game level defense, we win 100%.

Need to start winning on the road in order to bring the road record closer to .500.

    Rockets 104 Nuggets 94.

billups has been in a shooting slump recently. not the same for melo though.
denver blew a huge lead to utah and then lost to the kings, a team that they should be able to beat. im sure they will come out ready to win on their home court....

looking forward to this game. lets go htown. .

this is a really big game, i hope we treat it as such. i get the feeling that we are just a little too solid for denver, even in their gym. let's take care of business tonight.

Is Kenyon Martin still out? If so, who on earth will stop Landry/Scola?

I see Scola and Yao having HUGE games. The Nuggets are rather small with no good big man (especially with Martin out) to match up. Artest/Battier will put the clamps down on Carmelo, and Lowry could take Billups out of it for a little while (though Chauncey tends to have big games against us).

In other words, I think our bigs will simply overpower them. Expect there to be a huge disparity in points in the paint.

The Nuggets are coming back down to earth and have lost 7 of their last 11. We will continue the trend.

This should be a win tonight if we can keep Carmelo and Billups from going off and having huge nights. We need this win before the Laker game.

Need this win, it's critical that we stay in the hunt for HCA, and this is a playoff team we are playing. I hope we can win, Go ROCKETS!
