Me too. But there are no shortcuts, Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Finals.

    Gotta take 'em all.

Anybody else getting sick of Josh Smith's ball handling and jacking up threes early in the shot clock and contested!? McHale not holding anybody responsible out there will be our downfall I fear..just dumb.

I'm getting tired of him coming up the court and jacking threes. Outside that I'm okay. I'm okay with him bringing the ball up court taking threes when he is OPEN.

I do wish he'd cut back on the 3's. He's not shooting well over the last week or two. Limit those attempts to 1 or 2 a game til he starts hitting them again.

Damn, Corey Brewer is easily the best midseason acquisition for the Rockets this season and in recent history.

I'd even go as far as saying he's the best midsesson acquisition since Clyde in '95

No he didn't, he played okay, but losing the ball way too much lately and jacking up shots like crazy.

This I do agree, best pick up in a LONG time midseason. Fits right into the offense too.

With only one MLE this off-season, I am now in favor of keeping Brewer over Smith.

Since I live in Colorado Springs, this was my one live game for the year. To add to the discussion, I think we need to find a way to keep Brewer next year. He's been our MOST consistent scoring presence off the bench and he adds an energy/dimension that we don't have. His ability to get down court off on the break is unparalleled and gets us at least 2-5 easy baskets a night.

Josh is an enigma. Next to Dwight, I think he's our best rebounder, just slightly better than TJ. Stats may say otherwise, but on the court he seems to get the tough rebounds. His ball handling is a plus. His passing style is certainly unorthodox and has me cringe at times only to say good pass afterwards. I think he's still meshing into the team. He's certainly a valuable role player for us. I would just like to see him post up more and limit his 3pt shooting to open looks where he's set.

Last night's game was great from the perspective of everyone getting involved. Great games from Brewer, Ariza, DMo and Harden. Jones and Bev did well also, although Jones had problems finding any rhythm on offense.

I'm wondering why Pablo doesn't get any minutes. One of our main weaknesses over the last couple of years has been taking care of the rock. Pablo is probably our most reliable ball handler. He's very unselfish and I haven't seen him make a bad pass yet. While I love Terry. He's more of a SG and doesn't really have the ball skills to facilitate like Pablo. Does anyone else see this or am I wrong?

No, you are not wrong. McHale doesn't seem to trust Pablo on the court. Perhaps, it's because of his poor shooting so far. He should give him 10 minutes a game, unless he is playing poorly.

It cracked me up when Bill was talking like Brewer was on Denver last year. I know he played for Denver but it's been a few seasons and he didn't put 50 on us playing for Denver.. that was Minnesota.

No doubt. I don't think Smith is very far behind. Those two completely changed the outlook of the season, I think.
