rockets lose , but on the bright side i think this team will beat san antonio in the first round but lose to mavs in 7 in second round thus saving jvgs job once again.

To fellow Hong Kongers, Now684 (ESPN) will broadcast this game 11:30am this morning. And crap I need to work and forget to tape it. :(

I am not feeling good on this game, I often wrong and I hope I am wrong this time too.

    Talking about Rockets at Halftime

-Tmac will need to adjust to the number 2 scorer when Yao Comes back, JVG will need to learn how to incorporate them both

-Going to be interesting to see how he adjusts, Tmac always been provoking Yao to be more agressive

-JVG doing a great job everybody raving about hes a candidate for Coach of the Year (Stephen A Smith agrees)

yao will need to get his 20 shots, but the offense will be controlled by tmac, esp. in clutch situations. yao still turns the ball over too much. hopefully tmac won't go back to deferring. the offense needs to run like in 04-05. yao still got his touches but tmac was the #1 guy. i just feel like our offense is more unpredictable w/ tmac.

I don't agree that our team should run like the 04-05 model. That model was flawed. In that series, Yao was pretty much to T-Mac what Amare is to Nash, which doesn't fully utilize Yao's full skill set. I agree that T-Mac must control the ball and be the number 1 option on offense, but only in terms of decision making. When Mac has the ball he must read the defense, and look to get the ball down to Yao down low. It's really on both the passer and Yao to make sure the put the ball in his hands where a turnover is less likely. However, it's more on the passer because the post player has most of his attention focused on getting position. T-Mac needs to know when is the better time to get Yao the ball down low, and when he should look to score or distribute the ball else where. I think any offense works better when you have two players demanding double teams rather than utilizing two players primarily on pick and roll situations where the ball handler distracts the defense away from the roller, especially when the player rolling has far greater skillsets. My two cents.
