Very iffy game, again we play a athletic team, plus the altitude might play a factor.

VSpan starts, Gundy activates Yao and goes crazy for 38pts,9rbs,2 blocks, 4 assist.

And plus someone will need to break Steve Blake's shooting arm at start of game.

Steve Novak starts and goes for 50 points. Sets a NBA record with 15 3-pointers.

It's like T-Mac said, they're playing in a slump and they are playing uninspired. Yao's not going to come back and save the day right away, we have to give him some time to get into shape and back into playing form

Like T-Mac said: Recommit to rebounding and to defense.

This team is built to win if the defensive intensity and energy and awareness is there, and if the rebounding is there, it's hard to beat this team when we play energetic defense.

That said, Juwan and Deke, and maybe even Shane are starting to droop a little due to fatigue. They're dog tired. I don't see them keeping up with the Nuggets young athletic players with that altitude in that high speed game but hopefully they prove me wrong.

Tracy needs to be more motivated. He should come out of the gates - firing on all cylinders. We need a huge game from Tracy McGrady. Rafer, Battier and Juwan also needs to step up.

I'm looking forward to Shane guarding Carmelo.

I agree with JVG....everytime a player says "We" he should really be saying "I".

So when Tmac says those things it speaks volumes.

on the road, i'm guessing a loss. we'll lose the next 2 and possibly more until yao returns.

superstition, whenever i say we lose in the game thread we win.

Hopefully Shane can give Carmelo some problems and I don't know the matchup situation is going to work with iverson and who's going to guard him. I hope it's not trigger crazy jon lucas.

celtics have more hope of winning championship then vspan starting, im a firm believer of vpsan, hopefully his short-lived performance earned him a few more minutes, his 3pfg% is probably better then rafers tear drop % anyway. Hopefully our league leading defense will return and our 3 pointers are money, battier, head, tmac and alston all put up considerable amounts of 3s and hopefully will see them hitting them!!! would like to see tmac use his great vision and our role players rewarding him for that instead of missing layups. need a solid game from everyone for a convincing, well earnt WIN!!! hopefully will get to check out jake, snyder and vpsan in action too!! we really need to give our bench some experience before playoffs start if we wanna be deep enough to be real contenders need to improve our bench and give them some playing time, i think deke is struggling and after his recent ourbreak his burnt out, but if he rests enough shuold be fine for playoffs by the time yao gets back so his minutes go down, in the meantime jake should get more minutes!, if howard is getting tired out there try battier as the 4 again! looking forward to solid performances from all our players, we have so much promise, bonzi, head, battier, alston, tmac, juwan have proven to be able to really turn it on for 20+ points , tmac, well if he can turn it on for 60 LOL but he wont have to if the role players do their job! I really want to see the rox pull together, overcome this slump ASAP and show true strength as they start their ROLL in preparation for Yao to come so that we can truly dominant the league

It's going to be a tough game. I have a feeling JVG will experiment a bit more with the bench. We might see Snyder and Span a little bit more...Jake will be playing some extra minutes. Hopefully a win....
