Yes, and DonnyBrook is code word for: "freeforall." Referring with their front court vs our front court especially with Yao in the house. It would be a man's series. It would be a very entertaining series "where eagles dare if you will ..."

I am really surprised that within 39 minutes playing time tonight, Melo only had 1 assist. This is pretty ridiculous. He didn't trust his teammates in the game. And he showed zero leadship.

u MIGHT argue melo's on the same level as tmac in scoring.

but passing, he's 4-5 levels behind.

Not really. He does have the passing skill. If you watched his play in Syracuse before entering NBA, you could tell that he was a pretty good team player. But for some reason he obviously does not trust his teammates in Nuggets, at least in tonight's game. His mindset, not his skill, prevents his formance.

    Eh? Are you kidding me?

You are aware that there is a difference between being a "team player" and playmaking, right? Carmelo cannot even come close to sniffing T-Mac's jock when it comes to playmaking.

This was a significant win against Denver at home. Deke - 22 rebounds owned the paint. That made the difference right there. I hate seeing Tracy take such a beating though. He played his heart out - slashing inside to score and draw fouls. That is so hard on his body and particularly his back.

Mac really worked hard for his win.

    Go Rockets!!!!!

Great game! One of the commentators on ESPN said it best: The Rockets are a well-oiled machine tonight. I hope we keep up that intensity and take it with us into the playoffs- I really think we could be unstoppable if we do that, with a healthy T-Mac and Yao in the lineup. Go Rox!

he can pass for sure, but he can't pass like tmac. a lot of players can pass, but not on a superstar level. can melo run the pick and roll? can melo pass on the perimter?? no.

but he can pass decent in the post but we didn't double him much down there tonight.

but overall, it's not even close. and don't look at the stats. marbury averages 8 assists FOR HIS CAREER. and i can honestly say tmac's way better than him in that area

I would have thought they might struggle and possibly lose this game...it was a makeup win for some lousy losses in the past two weeks, i.e. Hawks and Celts.

Good win. But as JVG lovers say after any Rocket loss, JVG has no direct control over the game. No credit to him.

I don't like JVG on the offense, but the most credit Rockets solid defense should be given to him. No doubt he the best defense coach in the league.

Well, we did put ourselves into a position to lose at certain points of the game. Head's atrocious decision making still worries me a lot. I would rather have V-span handling the ball, then Head trying to dribble out the clock for a shot.

I think as a policy, we should never give Head the ball in the closing seconds of a shot clock, unless he is wide open.
