why are so many on here obsessed with nene's junk? serious question.

 

if we can pull out a win with bad 3-points pct. of the game, i like our chances in the playoff

That's still pretty good, when you are shooting at the average of the league but you are shooting at a high volume, that's a winning formula.

 

I think that % is going to go even more down if we keep settle for too many bad shots like we're doing in the last month (or more), the ball is not moving that well and enough imo, so the quality of the shots is not as good as it could be.

Rockets shooting less than 10% from 3 and still trailing by just 5 points

I think that's not a bad sign.

 

We have to keep him out there to open the lanes and other options for Harden.

Even he will be a dummy and he still will be the better option.

 

We have 2 more. And the 2nd games are at the Warriors and Clippers. Yikes.

 

Rockets shooting poorly and being down only 5 is fine. Just tighten up on the defensive end. This will translate to points for us. We just need some effort.

 

There is a story between Nene and Yao, and his Johnson.

 

Rockets have an easier schedule after the all-star break they said.

Gordon will be back to Dec-Gordon they said.

There is no excuses for fatigue, the Rox played fewer games than most teams the last few weeks.

 

Seems like opponents recently shoot better at the three than the Rockets. No way they are going to win if their opponent is doing better at what the Rockets are known for. I just don't see the dead eye shooters on the team besides Gordon. He seems to be the most consistent but everyone else can have long hot garbage stretches. Ariza seems to be **** the entire season from three. He's not even a 3 and D guy anymore. He's just a D guy and even that can be suspect. This should be his last season as a Rocket I think. Time to find a young upcoming small forward. I don't think Dekker is a permanent solution. Maybe give him one more year.

Frankly, if this style is going to net us a ring, we need better shooters. If this team is going to live by the three and die by it, they might as well slash some of Ariza's minutes and let Whitjer play some during meaningful minutes.
