When you play the Rockets, you are always in the game because of the way the Rockets turn the ball over. That's what keeps teams hanging around like Denver did tonight. Until that stops happening, expect to see more games like the one tonight: losses that shoulda coulda been wins.

Man, Mobley is going to have to do something special from now on to redeem this loss, I am sure everybody on the team is very upset about that stupid play. And i am sure Van Gundy would not be able to sleep tonight.

    True on all accounts.

As my grandfather used to say..., "Let dis be a lessen to ya..." The Rockets had "happy feet" at the half. Which means, they THOUGHT they had won it at the HALF.

The mistakes at the end from the Rockets were just a byproduct of putting themselves in the situation in the first place. It shouldn't have happened. Mobley did NOT lose the game. The ROX TEAM lost the game. And WE gave the NUGS the fuel to fight back and believe they could win. When you have a team down, step on their necks.

Like I said, "Let dis be a lessen to ya..."

Abso-freakin-lutely. It is really hard to be objective when the team loses, especially on bad decisions, missed free throws, turnovers, mental mistakes, etc. But, the truth is that they played a good game under tough circumstances and just lost.

Is it just me or does Cato suck on the outlet pass? He gets at least 2 picked off each game.

And Yao...is supposed to be a good passer, but he fumbles the ball a lot.

The Rocks still have a ways to go.

when we talk about the rockets inability to rebound we start with yao-plain and simple. he NEEDS to strengthen up his arms and his forearms. and he also NEEDS to learn how to grab a rebound and stop all this volleyball tipping.

do i blame yao for this? yes b/c he should know that game after game, one of the main reasons JVG don't play him much during crunch time is that he can't rebound as well as he should.

are there others to blame? of course. and that person is patrick ewing. what are we paying this guy for?!??! to carrying JVG's bags?? seriously, if he was hired to help yao develop yao's game (which is the main reason) i still haven't seen it yet.

it's sad that moses malone offered to help yao but we got stuck with ewing instead.

I wouldnt get to down after tonights loss. The offense looks like it may have turned the corner. The last 2 games have been easy on the eyes, if they dont forget how they scored these points and continue to share the ball than its going to be a great season. I really enjoyed tonights game even with the loss.

Im interested in seeing how they respond against Seattle. If they play well offensively than just maybe, just maybe Rockets games wont be so hard to watch for the rest of the season. Im liking what Im seeing

    Yao, Play tough or sit!!!

this is my first time seeing Camelo Antoni. what a player, he is simply magnificant!!! he took the game away from Rox. I think Rox played just like they played laker last night. But at the 4th Quarter, luck is not with Rox. The big frustration is Yao again!!! I am really tired to see him playing baseline turn arround. JVG, TELL YAO HE CAN NEVER MAKE MORE THAN 50% WITH THE BASELINE JUMPER. I am tired seeing him lose the ball without drawing a foul. jVG, TELL him to hold the ball firmly and use his elbow!!! I am really tired about his rebounding ability. and most of all I am tired with yao's no gut!!! Look at camelo, at the 3rd, no passing, either shoot or drive to the basket. What kind of confidence! what kind of aggresiveness! Look at yao, if he scored 6 consecutive, he will silent immediately. If he score 12 in a quarter, he will not even shoot the next quarter. JVG, tell him as a center, drive to the basket is first, pass is not the job of a center. JVG, will you please play this guy tough and let him develop some gut. Or will you please sit him!!!

I wonder...did JVG use Cato with Yao or Taylor with Yao at the end of the game when Miller missed the final shot?? Cuz Rox couldn't rebound that ball or they could have won it. If he had Taylor in there, i'll be pretty upset cuz he should have use Cato's ability to rebound at that moment of the game when Denver has the possession.

You know what? We would all be praising them if Mo T hits that makeable 18 foot shot at the end.

I was very proud that we passed it to the open guy for the winning look.

Shades of the Rocks of old and shows a severe leap in faith on the trust side.

However, now that it was not rewarded, I hope they stay committed to it.

Yep. The NUGS wanted it more than us. And we couldn't stop the avalanche once it started (which was our fault at the half).

Only good news is that Memphis was upset, but Utah managed to win.

The next four games are a big test. The Rockets will be favored to win all 4. But, are do they have enough desire to win.
