And Mobley had been playing smart ball pretty consistently this year too :( MoT and Mobley really blew this one for us. :(

Choke by Francis not hitting his Free Throws, and possibly the DUMBEST foul I have ever seen on Mobley.

They gave this game away, and it could bite em in the a$$ later in the season.

    Dissappointing to say the least.

All the momentum gained in LA is gone with the stupidity of this game.

Great game from a pure basketball fan perspective.

    Carmelo is sensational.

Cat plays hard but needs to play smarter. His stupid fouls at the end of the game have cost us two losses so far this season.

Oh well, missing FT's and stupid fouls cost us the game. It was a hard game after yesterday. We do have to habbit to let opponents run us over in the 3rd.

I'm so damn sick of these guys...can't make a freakin free throw!!
I've been boycotting them this season because of their disappointing play but I got sucked into last nights win and watched tonight.

They showed me why I have NO faith in them again!!!!

and that last shot...what were they thinking? i know it's at the last second and the refs usually put their whistles away but at least try to draw some kind of foul.

seriously...the rockets needs to find out who they are....are they the hard working players we saw yesterday or the complacent ones of tonight?

    and mobley??? my god....

I'm with you on Mobley's foul but Francis played his ass off tonight. And, as I posted earlier, coming off the huge win in LA LAST NIGHT, facing a team that had rested for 3 days in an altitude that has made some of the greatest look for oxygen on the sideline and they took the game to the final seconds.

I HATE it when they lose, but I am proud of how they played with a few very key exceptions. They seem light years ahead of where they were just a week ago. If they continue to play this well on the whole, they are going to win more of these than they lose.

Not that Yao hasn't been the subject of being the guy that was postered in highlight reels before, but the Anthony alley oop really adds insult to injury with this loss.

I don't know what happens to Francis FT at clutch time this year. Maybe fatigue was a factor. And Mobley's last minute foul. Well, that spoil all the good works in the first half. :(

Guys get posterized every night. It'll happen some more to Yao so we should get used to it. Everyone who plays down low has it happen to them.

But that was a sweet jam.

i don't know if this is anger talking but seriously, after these kinds of games, particular players has to step up and take the blame (i.e. mobley). i don't know what goes on in the lockerroom but i would hope they are man enough to say 'man i was a dumbass and it was stupid of me....as a veteran....to have fouled a jump shooter with the game on the line. my bad'.

For the team, I thought Francis and Taylor played very well. I felt bad for Yao because the guy clearly was having a tough time with his conditioning. A year or two from now, he will be dominating games like these instead of struggling to catch his breath. But, hell, even Dream had trouble in Denver's thin air.

Mobley played well in the first half but that last second foul was inexcusable. Cato played tough despite what appeared to be a really gimpy ankle.

This kid, Anthony, is a beast. They had no one to stop him. This Denver team has a very interesting mix of players. They'll need to find a better defensive game to win over the long haul, but they are a tough team to defend.

I about heaved my recliner out the window when they lost, but games like these are simply tough to win. They showed character to be in it the way they were and just fell short on the road. Sucks, but it is life in the NBA.
