Melo went off in the 3rdQ for 20 points on 8/10 fgs. He is something to watch. JJ was playing great defense on him--giving him the body, hand in his face..but Melo kept hitting drives, jumpers, 2-3s from downtown..scary stuff..

He might be tired after playing Shaq last night, like every other Centre would. But he is not that bad though. You are exaggerating. So far, Yao has 10 points (50% FG) and 8 rebounds for 25 minutes of play.

I like his three asists for three treys. Yet dislike his TO tonight.

This is another game where I can honestly say, win or lose, I am proud of the way the Rockets have played. Back to back, on the road after a HUGE win in LA. It smelled like a letdown and they have been tremendously solid depsite Anthony going off like some freak.

Obviously, I want them to win, but whatever happens, they look terrific.

Yes, I too like the way they moved the ball. Fatigue defintely played a role in the second half. One can see our lack of energy in defending C Anthony.

Rockets up by two with 17 seconds left. Nuggets called timeout.

What a game. I won't be able to sleep for a week after these last two games.

Yao has struggled with the altitude. Hakeem had similar problems in Denver.

Actually, Yao's stamina is better than last year after playing Shaq. I recalled he was down for almost two weeks after the first clash. That was why Rocket went downhil after that win.

There is NO REASON both Mooch and Cato should be out there together. Both of them cant do squat on offense. Mooch too timid to shoot even given the open look, and Cato could only score some garbage points under the basket. No post up plays should ever be called for Cato, period. I have no idea why JVG have 2 players with no offense skills out there at the same time. I guess it's just too hard for JVG to bench Mooch. Afterall he did lose those weight to please his coach.
