As RR put it, perhaps the best loss of the season by the Rockets.

Christ. What a game to lose. Then again, what a game period. I'm damn proud of the way we played tonight.

    Toronto L (embarassing)
Philadelphia L (hideous; Yao calls the team soft after this)
Detriot W (predicted L and we deserved an L)
Dallas L (predicted L; terrible loss at home)
Orlando L (predicted L; like Detroit game, FTs and layups were horrible again)
Denver L (predicted L; tough loss, make FTs and we win; however, ...)
    =================================
    Chicago W
    Detroit L
Memphis W (thinking of changing this to a L because Gay will own us)
    Toronto L
    Golden State L
    Boston L
    Orlando L

    (14-19)

yep that about it the next game we going to be 98-94 rocket loss

Jeez... all you guys patting this team on the back for this "moral" victory against a non-contender.

Am I the only one who remembers us BLOWING THIS TEAM OUT when we played them last month? We were at full strength, and this was before the debacle of Toronto which started this now mind-numbing stretch of awful basketball.

Denver played like ass tonight... whereas we were throwing everything we could possibly throw out at them... and they still win.

Do they need to play with this sort of energy every night? Yes... but they also absolutely need T-mac at full strength to win games.

This was the sort of effort JVG got out of the team every single freaking night... if Adelman is channeling into some of that, then he'll make even more progress.

did we lose because of the lack of a substitution?

while karl substituted his guards regularly through the final 10 minutes, we let our tired ones play. i cant help but think that if we had fresh legs in the final 4 seconds, maybe just maybe that final shot is atleast contested. i dont even think bonzi was supposed to be defending- just helping someone else.

oh well- can't complain. great game. i am so glad i DVRed that crap when it went into overtime.

i really think the only way for this team to move forward is to trade tmac asap. however, i dont think it can happen if he refuses the MRI. what team wants damaged goods? (other than the texans :p )

    good night clutchfans

He went to the freethrow line because of the offensive rebounds he got.
He got wut..like 10 or 11 offensive rebounds?

That's fine. But the fact that he took 32 shots, means that he is disrupting the flow of the offense. If Kobe went for 13/32 but scored 40 points, people start calling out his head for being inefficient and a ball hog. How does this not also apply to Athony? He's an all star player, he'll get his numbers. I don't care if he gets 37 as long as it takes him 30-40 shots a night with so little made.

we didn't see win again, but we see effort, we see our stretch, we see teamates never say give up, we lose the game but we win heart.

BTW, can't imagine if tracy's on court, we might not make 2 OTS if she's there.

Making two free shots at final seconds is a lack of mental toughness?

When it rains, it pours. Looks like Rockets just cannot win, no matter what they do.

Feel bad for the team, because they really played hard.

First of all, I feel sorry of my name... If there is a chance, I will rather put just YAO and get rid off that loser Mac!!!

Well even though we lost this game, but I can see the whole team changed a lot, everybody was not selfish, and look at the digits of Yao.

26pts, 19rbs, 2blocks and 6 assists... This is MVP level!!!

+1... people saying how we are better w/o tmac... Denver played like ****, and we still couldn't win. Although the effort was good, but this team beat them last time WITH tmac by 20+.

Easy nick, easy. lol. We didn't even have t-mac this game. Hell, the way we're playing, it's a refreshing change to see that we actually make a game out of it tonight.

I do agree about the effort though. This is the kind of effort we need to see every night from this team, whether it's an Adelman or JVG coached team.

WTF are some of you guys talking about, when you suggest INBOUNDING to Yao on the last play when Yao is SANDWICHED front and back? LOL, good thing some of you fans aren't coaching because if you were, the record would be much worse than it is now.

If we had a Jason Terry/Josh Howard in that situation, we would of won this game. I say we trade T-mac for both those guys and see how far we can go.

We played smart most of the way and had pretty good ball movement.
