Yeah no great or even good NBA team was ever built because some scrub once played 4 extra garbage time minutes, or at least, I've never seen any evidence that this is a thing that happened.

Teams get good because their players are good. A few extra garbage time minutes don't make them appreciably better

 

Denver is a WCF threat this year. Plus high altitude at home.

You could field an Over 38 year old Big 3 or Big 5 team and would be equal results.

First, it showed a good coach versus a bad coach. Malone made adjustments during the halftime last game and our coach did nothing.
Second, it showed our guards just don't have the mentality to be a great player, or they never will be franchise players. Great players ran the same plays, trusted their teammates, and did what the game plan laid out, whether the game was up 40 points or down 40 points. Our guards jacked up shots after shots, turnovers after turnovers, refused to play defense after down big. The only interest for them were getting the ball back and jacked up the 3-point the next possessions. If you make it then it's fine, the problem is they are not making it. Funny thing is that they can't even make layup and free throws. I used to defended Green for drafting over Mobley. Not anymore, Mobley played calm whether it's up big or down big.
Third, there's no reason to discuss any further which center we should start. No point in doing that. If your guards keep letting other guards penetrate so easily to your last line of defense, any center in the league will get scored and in fouled troubles.
We need a new coach and a PG who can defend and control the pace. We just can't start KPJ and Green at both guard spots. The KPJ point guard experiment is over. Move him to SF or to the bench, get a real PG.
