Well....apparently Harden and PJ arent worried about the doubles....so I guess why should we. PJ, said especially that since this team is new, they need more experience with how to handle the double.

I was wondering this after the game and seeing so many double teams come his way...

How viable is having Harden go immediately to the high post ala Jordan and Kobe with regards to forcing a double team? Wouldn't it lead to better opportunities to make easier plays? The reason why their defense was so effective and will be is because Harden is getting doubled way out beyond the 3-pt line, which makes it easier for the defenders to recover. Would getting doubled in the post lead to more slashing and movement?

The way PJ was talking about the new players adjusting to this scheme makes me think they've never considered it. Whatever counter the Rockets can come up with to the double on James beyond the 3-line will not scare a good defensive team away from not continuing to use it. I'm not anti-iso but if the team is opting to make his isos their bread-and-butter and rely on him scoring nigh-40, then they need just as an effective counter to that gimmick. Unfortunately, we don't have a prime Shaq that Kobe had.
