He wants to limit Lin's minutes because I'm guessing, and I strongly believe it based on benching him so many times in the 4th this season.

especially from the time lin was substituted out in 3rd qt to the time he came back in 4th qt. the whole team was horrible during that period.

Numbers might be wrong, ask torocan to post the stats again, he's the one who originally posted it IIRC.

McHale is VERY inconsistent when it comes to riding the "hot hand".

Some games he subs out our players when they're playing very well, then inexplicably sits them when they're on fire.

And he makes very few minutes adjustments against opponents and usually subs WAY too late when things start getting out of hand.

You think George Karl would have waited to call a time out until AFTER they'd blown a lead and was in the hole?

No, George Karl, Doc Rivers, or Pops would have called a time out after a string of bad plays to at LEAST settle his players down or possibly make subs if there were bad match ups.

Same with subs. 4th Quarter Starting with NO Asik, Lin OR Harden? So, you sit your #1 scorer, your #1 floor general, and your #1 rim protector in a CLOSE game with a team you're fighting for a Play Off spot? When you're in the 8th seed?

    Unreal... utterly unreal...

Harden got his 21 only 1 point less then Lin so he tried. But Hardens defense and hustle and ball handling were no where to be found

I'd like to see him to that earlier in the game, say, beginning of the 3rd when he is in tbh. He plays beginning of the 3rd and closes out the 4th, seems like a good time to turn on the switch.

Harden 3.8 TO per game with 38 Mins per game

Lin 3.1 TOs per game with 33 mins per game.

mfastx, who turns it over more?

Forgot to include the source. It probably doesn't include today's game.

Don't mistake me for a Harden hater or LOF please, just trying to set some facts straight...

I'm only defending Harden right now because many users are making ridiculous claims right now.. I'm trying to be objective and rational. I haven't hated on any Rockets player in this thread.

It's so true. If Morey fails to fire McFail, his job is on the line too.

In a close game, you need to play your best players at the start of 4th and let them finish. You can't expect your hot player, tonight being Lin, to come when the game is already over to try to recover....doesn't work with a good team like Denver. Lin should have come in earlier in tonight's game instead of Harden and let him facilitate a bit.

I would so worship Harden if he won us the game tonight.

Harden getting lazy walking back on Defense. the coach should hold him accountable.

There is no way Morey doesn't see this. The question is if he has the balls to fire the coach.

I agree with you all that Jeremy Lin was doing a hell of a job tonight and the Rockets fell apart while he was on the bench. There's no coincidence in that.

Look at the turnover effeciency/percentage stats. Ask torocan where he gets his stats from, he's the one that posted them.
