Denver is located in the plateau, so the air is more thin. Nuggets is used to it, but it may not be goof for Rockets. If both team run , thsy take the advantage.

doenst mater if we win or lose what matters is that we play our game - our style that always worked...

    1 run and gun
    2 Lin PG
    3 Harden SG
    4 midrange jumpshots allowed
    5 help defense
    6 Ppat agressive

Denver's defense in their last game with us here was stifling...maybe best I've seen all year. They did a lot of switching and trapped our guards...leading to lots of turnovers and forced shots late in the shot clock.

Unless we can solve that, doubt we can win esp at 5K ft.

bad match up. their front court >>>>> our front court.

Parsons needs to pick up Gallo behind the 3 every time he touches the ball. We also need to make a good effort on boxing out, especially the Manimal.

Shut down Lawson and Gallinari, just sag off Koufos to double on these 2. Faried is a total non-factor if these 2 are having an off game. We can definitely win this.

Last game I knew there was no hope with the way the Rockets were playing, but this game they are playing much better. I'll say we will lose by less that 10.

Last game w/ Denver, the defense was not suffocating. We suffocated ourselves w/ the ISO games. We started to play our game again in the last New Orleans game.

Our game that lost to the Nuggets was the same game that almost lost to the Bobcats. Just sayin.

LOL! Appreciate the additional power Witch Doc...I'm pretty sure I can't beat your understanding of jinxes.

Problem is...if I don't put in a disclaimer, the wolves in this forum will misunderstand and tear me to pieces for not being a Rockets fan!!!
*Disclaimer: I don't mean Minnesota fans*

    Oh the dilemma...:(

It is belief in the jinx and counter-jinx that causes the counter-jinx problem, not the statement. i.e. if you wash your car to keep the rain away, it will rain no matter what you say out loud. If you wash it in ignorance, the rain will stay away.

Fortunately for the Rockets and Jedster, I didn't believe in the original nor the new counter jinx, which theoretically means it should continue to work. Note that my lack of belief extends to my own analysis of the effect of lack of belief.

Also note, in jinxing you wash your car and get rain. In counter jinxing you wash your car to not get rain. It is a complex system, and you can never be sure whether the jinx or counter jinx worked until after the rain doesn't fall.

When the Rockets were playing Harden Ball(tm), even Jose Calderon's defense was stifling, and he was arguably the worst defender in the history of the NBA. This game is not going to hinge on what the Nuggets do, but on what the Rockets do.
