ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Nuggets 1/3/2011

We gotta wait till Rick Aldeman retires. But by then T-Will will be gone on another team.

 

I watch almost every game, thanks I know what we sound like.

Unfortunately, our guys are mostly goofy. They also complain about calls and dont like certain plays... but over the past 4 season or so I cant stand listening to Denver commentators specifically because they cant stand anything that doesnt go for their team. At least Worrell can seem impartial when Houston isnt playing good basketball. Clyde and Bullard can be lame... but we're not as bad as Denver. Its a msg board, I can be annoyed at them and voice it.

 

Battier's "D" has been blah, Melo is just a special player. Games like this make me miss the days where we would just ride Dream to victory after victory. As much as we hate on McGrady, he did the same thing for us for a while.

lowry has drawn 5 fouls by himself in the 3rd. thats what i like to see

 

battier is playing ****ing terrible

 

This game is starting to get out of hand. Our plays arent scoring consistently enough, and against a team like this we either need special defense or some better O.... neither of which we seem to have early this week.

 

Battier leaving Carmelo, makes no sense whatsoever. Can't stop him when he's guarding him. Must be a new strategy for Battier.

 

Sucks that we have no superstar on our team anymore.

All we have is some high end role players and the one player that has the potential to be one is riding the pine for no apparent reason.

Why has Kyle been missing the first free throw lately?

 

Nope, One of these players...Martin/Brooks/Lowry/Lee going to be traded for a big in a package. Then Twill will get his mins. No doubt in my mind that the Rockets are prepping for a trade.

 

Lee is such a better all-around player than Martin... he's versatile, physically capable, aggressive on D, and can hit the 3-ball and finish at the rim. He needs more PT.

 

Awesome Spinner from Luis. He pulled a sick rebound a few possessions earlier as well.

 

No wonder Carmelo wants to leave, Denver is in the same position as we are

 

That was not a flop from Battier.

 

Shane please stay in your 1/2 bedroom house of offensive game.

We are going to lose this game at the free throw line again. They are making all their freebies and we are aren't.
