how does having the second worst shooting guard in this league fit into a system where we need to hit the open shot to win the game....how in gods name does gundy not take this into account...and how hard is it to find a point guard to shoot, dribble and play defense

Completely disagree, we're sucking on offense, turning the ball over, and missing layups/fastbreak opportunities...Denver isn't doing anything well but keep feeding AI who's being single-covered by O-fer.

And Hayes continues to commit stupid fouls...will he ever learn?

Despite everything, we're down by 1.

One good quarter might be all it takes tonight...hopefully Denver will continue playing like this and we won't have to deal with yet another unknown player having a career night against us.

    Hayes's decline is baffling

On the other end saying Evans looks likes a chimp is insulting to chimps

We're sucking on offense because we're not getting wide open looks like usual. Denver is really rotating well and closing that open space.

    In this system, yes.

We need a shooter in this system and a guy who can keep his TOs to a minimum...Rafer is the worst possible 'fit' for this team.

    simple.

hayes is not a stat filler. he can't be a spark off the bench, he can't be productive in limited minutes. he thrives as a starter. he needs a lot of minutes to produce.

when you're great at hustle plays and rebounds you need PT.

I think Hayes is one of the rockets who is really benefited by Yao's presence. He is a good hustle player. He cleans up the garbage.

Haha Bill Walton said that we're playing well without Yao in a very somber tone of voice, like it was unfortunate or something. Then he says, I'm not suggesting that they trade Yao.

Oh wow... I love Shane Battier...

He's just pure awesome.... I have a feeling Rafer will get better throughout this game... lol hopefully.
