He's a liability defensively. He isn't a great scorer. But yeah, he sets nice picks, and is a good passer.
I guess I just dont agree. I dont really get the idea of traditional Point Guard unless they are like an elite play maker.
How many Rockets does this fit? One could almost start a game starting with, "He's a liability defensively. He isn't a great scorer." and then add a final sentence to give a clue to which player is being discussed.
I get the impression that starting the next game thread sort of pops into @Clutch's brain and he just does it. No particular time of day, but rather when the spirit moves him. That, or he likes to mess with us.
His defense is somehow still better than Garrison Matthews. He actually is a great help defender, I see him challenge and contest shots at the rim pretty decently. His problem is when he gets switched out onto a guard and left on an island. But let's be real. No one on our team can guard Kyrie or KD. So this game wasn't a good sample. Those two are probably the most gifted scorers in the league. I expect them to abuse a rookie. We need to scheme better to not have him out there by himself a giant super stars.
