Disappointed with Pat. I don't know how much his current play is due to that fall he took, but I know his bouts with "some times I don't give a ****" go back farther than that. Pat is too big and athletic to play the way he does. I understand his post game is still in development, but the way he battles for rebounds, going up with the ball, even the way he passes sometimes, is way too soft for me. I'm only frustrated now because we have all seen flashes of brilliance physically,mentally,offensively and defensively. Last year If we had to make a trade I was fine with Scola leaving since we had Pat, but now I don't know anymore. At least Pat is young... Without a doubt Scola plays hard ALL THE TIME even when out matched. Pat should be beasting on those rebounds but he's just kind of out there, a simple box out would net him double digit rebs.
I agree on patterson needing to play stronger. Case in point was when he got a pass and was all alone heading towards the basket and he lays it up instead of dunking. That softness also shows up in his rebounding, i rarely see him go out of his way to get rebounds, hes just average when it comes to that even though i think he has the athleticism to be much better at it if it wasnt for how soft he is. Dont get me wrong i really like patterson i just want him to play stronger and with more attitude.
Rockets and Nets trading players with big lips. I mean, I thought Green had big lips until I saw Twill. If we try to beat that record, I think we will have to find a mouth with legs and I didn't notice such a thing in the upcoming draft.
Chase plays and the team wins again, can't make the lottery that way, back to the bench he goes and Twill taking his place. DD
Chase always has a good game when he hasn't been playing for a while, but what I don't get it is how McHale seems to keep trying to replace him with Twill or not play him at all. Some1 should ask him

I'd have to believe it is that defense is generally horrible... He gets lost on about every third defensive play. Watching film of the first Spurs game with the team and seeing him get back door'd twice by Matt Bonner can't make the coaches too happy. On another note, did people on here watch the game, or track the score? Because the shots they were hitting were ridiculous. They had a stretch where Humphries and Marshon got to the rim a few times, but beside that, I don't believe we played overly horrible defense. Every 2 and 3 on their team made a couple shots where we (mostly Parsons) couldn't have played it any better without getting a block or a steal. At times, teams in the NBA just make shots, with or without their star players in the line up.
