Kevin Love? Why do you guys always want damaged goods? When a player look's so obvious, then they pretty much peaked out. Look at D howard, Steve Nash, Derrick Rose, Andrew Bynum, Amare Stoudemire. These are all damaged goods and most if not all of them will be mediocre from here on out. Even Kevin Love, with this and that injury, he's done. The only person who appears obviously good and will probably remain good is LBJ. The other players, I'm not so sure.
No reason one of them can't move to starter while the other comes off the bench, so we can have a slighter larger starting line-up. Small line-ups like Parsons at the 4 should probably be more circumstantial.
Eventually, hopefully before the end of the season, the lineup will look like this: PG: Lin/Beverly SG: Harden/Garcia SF: Parsons/Delfino/Anderson PF: Robinson/Smith C: Asik/D-MO Where the 12th man would come from? Who knows?
agree but he needs playing time to go through some growing pains and figure it out. The guy is a beast. He already has THE BEST post moves on the team (not hard considering the players but still) and his offense could be really really good. The Defense is always lagging with rooks and mchale just needs to put him in a position to succeed. He can use his length to his advantage when defending. And i mean its not like we have to replace all of Pattersons rebounds that went with him to Sacramento..DMO can at least match that and probably do much better--i think he led the polish league in rebounds. Just let the man play!
i could be ok with that except not sure I play DMO at C. Would naturally depend on the matchups. He is a post-up 4 and going up against bigger Cs could hurt. But either way I see DMO/SMITH/Robinson in some sort of 3-man rotation between PF and C (on occasion)
You mean like how Morey picked all non obvious players prior to this season? I like your logic (just kidding, no logic whatsoever), can you provide some substance?
To be honest, Lin's major flaws tonight all happened in the 4th: 1) His missed 3 at 5:47 and 6:41. Those were wide open shots he need to make. 2) The offense foul at 4:07 That said, his hockey assist for Delfino's clutch 3 was huge. Good thing Harden got fired up in the 4th while the bench held the fort.
Yup yup, I think D-Mo got around 11 mins of playing time today, which isn't too bad, but since we're playing the Wizards tomorrow, I hope he gets at least 20 mins with the team. I maybe stretching it but fingers crossed. Can we play Terrance Jones some minutes tomorrow? I want to see what he's like. Last point, I think D-Mo needs to hit the weight room this summer if he wants to elevate his game. He's a 7 footer but he only weighs 222 (ESPN). I think maybe putting on 20 lbs should help him make a case with the team next year.
On the Knicks board their fans are saying Lin looked like Magic Johnson in the first half. Their post game thread is pure entertainment, fans are turning on the team, they're in panic mode
Yeah, I really liked the Asik-Dmo-parsons-harden-Lin lineup. That should be the starting lineup from now on.
