I don't doubt he has great basketball knowledge, he would make an excellent college coach or be a coach for the sixers, but we have a bunch of veterans who probably don't feel intimidated by him.

Man I love Marcus Thorton; 32 pts off the bench is the highest this season by anyone

One day when we were playing the Sixers one of the commentators says "You know Covington is enjoying this, doing this to his old team." and it hit me...man we have a lot of ex-players out there. We've let a lot of good role players go and go, continuing to move the team around.

Man...Lowry was THE move. THE MOVE and I feel we just have to retool now because Lowry was THE move to make to beat the Warriors. Yes. To beat the Warriors.

Lowry has always played Curry tough, he's not afraid of Curry one bit. Also Lowry's mentality was perfect for this team. He's a bulldog and he's not going to let Harden take away from his touches. He's a defender, creator, he was the perfect running mate along side Harden IMO and we missed out on that.

I know it is 'Hindsight' but hindsight counts when the decision is THAT bad. Just like the Presti-Harden trade and just like all the teams that passed up on Curry.

That was the move and instead we diddled around with Carmelo and even most of the fans knew it wasn't going to happen. After that meeting the Rockets should have went full speed at Lowry. He loved McHale and he had ties here.

D Andre Jordan lives in Houston, remember that episode where Cuban went after him?

Avery Johnson lives in Houston too. I wouldn't mind him at this point.

Senior leaders might be able to get away with bending the rules a bit....but they are generally more mature. Nothing about this team suggests that they are at that point. Also, I'm sure that none of these individuals were hanging out with lower enlisted marines.

Therefore I still believe that, as a rule, a leader shouldn't associate with their subordinates.

Why did harden only have 5 shots and just 10 pts? Did I miss something?

I know there are a bunch of Player Only Fans who didn't like Adelman, but he did the right thing to stand up to his highest paid player.

Everyone respects that because they know who is the boss and who is the ruler.

I don't think Bickerstaff being at the party had anything to do with this particular loss. However Bickerstaff is the boss, he should not be socializing with his players.

I will not vote James Harden as an All Star this season.

Sorry, this is NBA, not night club.

It was at a special event, just like the Marine Corp Ball. Private party with the entire staff in attendance. I'm pretty sure the Army had special events where everyone were in attendance.

You don't hear or see JBB hanging out with them at the clubs. That was only a one time affair.

If Harden did not play this game, we would win already.

I hope I'm wrong and yes there are obviously similar events. All other branches did ultimately come from the Army afterall :p

You might be the biggest Harden homer going around. The guy is a joke this season.

This is true but their personal circumstances are VERY different. Curry had to overcome a lot just to make it in the NBA - his 2011-12 injury riddled season is something that Harden hasn't experienced. Also, being the son of a former NBA player who also was a very good playter has given Curry insight into the game that Harden obviously lacks.

Well, he'd better start working because the clock is ticking and Curry may well be the first of a new generation of players who can (and will) take this game to the next level. If Harden isn't careful, he will wake up one day and find that not only has the game has passed him by but also that Father Time has added his name to his list.
