This game makes me sick. I wasn't even planning on watching most of it because I expected a victory against one of the worst teams in the league and here we are.
This season has me down. Way down. I'm actually relieved I didn't buy league pass or ball streams. I've just been focused on work and my own life and things have been fine. Not amazing but fine. I see no reason to invest in this team given that the players aren't even invested. I'm not on the "trade harden" train. You don't trade a player like that unless he wants out badly. But Dwight has been...idk. I really like Dwight but why does he never contest shots anymore? He lets players drive like no other. Foul out if that's what it takes! Never let guys get layup after layup after layup. That said, harden needs to give 100% on D too. Hopefully this rockets team at least finishes over .500. In the meantime, I'm not gonna watch games against crappy teams anymore. Nothing good comes from it. You win and think, well that teams sucks so it's expected. You lose and you think, our team has absolutely zero chance.
Oh, please. They'll easily get swept by either the Spurs or Warriors. And like I said, that's best case scenario. I really don't see them making the playoffs at this rate. We've played nearly 27% of the season already. That ain't a small sample. This is a horrible defensive team with a mediocre offense, so we can forget about being the Steve Nash Suns who just outscored their opponents every night. The only way we're winning games is by eeking out close ones against bad ballclubs. That won't be happening anymore come X-Mas and beyond when the Rockets have to start facing playoff caliber teams on an almost night basis. I just think we're at the point where we can no longer hope things turn around. Harden is no leader, at least not this season. Howard is past his prime and he was never a leader to begin with. The role players are too inconsistent. D-Mo will need a lot more time to get back to what he was prior to the injury. And while JB is doing a marginally better job than McHale did, he's not getting these guys to play hard for 48 minutes, especially defensively.
I bet Bickerstaff got yelled at for being at that party with the players. That's the kind of stuff that can happen when you coach is only a few years older than the players.
You are a r****d in the nicest way possible. It's funny when insecure little children like to bring up the past to heighten themselves! You are weak son. Harden was better than Curry last year(as agreed upon by the players) Harden has improved him game up until this year every year. How does it feel to look stupid?
Rockets are fill with a bunch of soft minded players. We don't have any one tough minded like Ron Artest, Landry, Battier, Von Wafer... Josh Smith is another one, but ....
This year's Rockets team should NEVER be considered a sure thing to win a basketball game. Literally every game is a struggle.
I actually agree with you. I'm still hopeful that we're both wrong, but I suspect you are 100% right on all of this.
Dwight has been a big problem this year and he's getting paid the most money. One day he plays elite defense the next day scrubs are schooling him and he seems to have lost his ability to catch a pass and box out.
Damn you're lucky. I threw down 100 on Ballstreams and now it feels like a waste since these ****ty Rockets have killed most of my enthusiasm for the NBA. Waste of money.
Curry was better than Harden last year. He has the MVP and ring to back it up The gap has only got wider this season. Honestly it's no longer a comparison. Harden b****es and whined all off season about him deserving MVP Curry kept quiet, worked on hi game and is letting his game do the talking while Harden is laying bricks and turnovers out there
