Yao vs Yi is definitely the headline for today's game. The two chinese international will go head to head for the first time since Yi was traded to the NJN. I think we'll get to see a lot of Yao vs Yi in one-on-one situation tonight, which will be highly entertaining. The other marquee matchup features the second year point guard Aaron brooks against one of the most improved player of the year candidate Devin harris. T-mac owns his cousin vince carter tonight with 26 pts, 6 rebs and 7 dimes. Artest comes off the bench once again to post stellar numbers: 18 pts, 4 rebs and 5 steals. The key would no doubt be Yao's play. I think he should have no problem against the NJ frontline and will dominate the paint like he did in the past few games. Yao ends the game with 28 pts, 6 rebs and 2 blk. Final score rockets 101 - 99 nets.

His technique is way ahead of most big men coming into the league. IMO, Yao was behind his first year compared to Lopez. Lopez is fundamentally sound but is not as athletic as Howard or Biedrins, I was going to say that its the athletic guys that give Yao problems but Yao does well against Howard and Biedrins but he didn't do well against Jefferson. If I were to guess, Yao will dominate the rookie in head to head play but I expect the Nets will double Yao often to negate Yao's advantage.

It's very easy to lose in this league. We have to come out with a lot of energy to put pressure on the Nets,and to be able to sustain it.Only then can we win in a convincing manner,and give some rest to our stars tonight. I expect a tough game.If we do the right things we can win,otherwise the Nets have a good chance of winning as well.
That Carter/Harris backcourt is the best in the league. The key to winning against the Nets is containing them. If Brook Lopez/Josh Boone get going... this team can be scary.
Nets really got screwed on that deal. RJ puts up better numbers than Yi and Simmons combined. I fail to see how Yi got drafted so high. The few times I watched him play, he just doesn't impress me much.
