yeah, it's even a nine players rotation... well, hope boki's saving something big for later. (in the season)
Who knew that it would be TMac's ball-hawking defense that we'd miss the most.... its led to all the fast break points.
True, the Rox are getting outrebounded like crazy, but it doesn't matter because they are on a 47-19 run.
Sweet dunk by Yao. Ashame to see him reinjure that elbow again. Just from the looks of it, it could be a hyper extension. I hope it's nothing too severe though. The last thing I'd hate to see this team suffer from is recurring injuries from our two big stars.
only took em 3 fouls to call one. i hope that the elbow problem hasn't been prolonged by that foul. i dont understand how an nba referee can stand 3 feet from a play and not see the clear foul on yaos first shot of the game. he took away his right forearm.
Yea, was anyone else shocked they actually called a foul on that play? I'm amazed at how much abuse the opposition gets away with on Yao. That last play of the 1st qtr., Rodney Buford had both arms on Yao's chest pushing him towards the basket with all his power. Good thing JJ burned them for a 3 because of it.
TMac is such a great player. He immediately impacts the team in a positive way with his return. It's foolish to think the Rockets can win against talented teams like the Twolves and Lakers without TMac.
It's like feast or famine for Yao in terms of officiating. Either he gets the motherload of calls like in the Lakers game, or he gets totally shafted like tonight.
Rockets should practice on defense "NEVER LET THE GUY GO BASELINE". It's much tougher if the player has to dribble into towards the middle of the court rather than the baseline.
