I don't think a superstar has 2 points in the first quarter, 3 TO, and is a non-factor in the first quarter. Don't get me wrong, Yao is awesome but he's not in the same level as Tim Duncan/ KG yet.

That's right, call some of those ticky-tack fouls on the Nets. They got away with too much in the 1st.

Jeff Van Gundy knows Moochie Norris sucks like hell but he still plays him because he wants to prove he can change players around...and he knows Moochie makes 3.6 million a year...and he sucks...he wants to make him look like he's worth something.

Unfortunately...Moochie just sucks. JVG will get pissed and get rid of him hopefully. :D

I think JVG has changed it up, but up till now we have been playing this exactly the wrong way on offense. Again: taking perimeter iso shots is EXACTLY what Jersey wants you to do, as it makes it so easy for them to get their running game going, as we have seen. Up till a minute ago, Yao had exactly 1 fga...and they were parking him out at the right elbow...WTF!?!?!?

The good news is that our 1/2 court defense has been excellent so far.

BTW...why was this thread merged? It was an entirely distinct concept from just dicsussing the game, and one I was looking to do for other games...and I have never seen this kind of idea in the pre-game threads...what's the deal?
