If most people think Rox will win, then it will be a loss.

Proved again and again last year and this year against Mem.

Zo may not be very tall, but he's got great leaping ability.

    I think it's

    91 Rockets
    90 Nets

Only because K-Mart's out, which means we have a good PF matchup.

The key as I see it is to take and make good shots which diminishes NJ's FB opportunities. Consequently, on missed shots transition D is going to be very imporant for the Rox. Can JJax post up Richard Jefferson?

Low scoring IMO... Rox over NJ 87-85.

Kidd cannot shoot and yet he scored 30 last night.

Jefferson cannot shoot yet he benefited tremendously from playing with the best ball distributor in the game and is 62% from the floor in the last 2 games.

If the Rockets truly play the inside out game and make Yao and SF to determine the outcome of the game, we will win. Otherwise, a 15 point loss.

Based on what I have seen so far this season, I think:

    Nets 92

    Rockets 77

Poor Moochie will have 5 TOs and CM will shoot 5-15 from the floor while being guilty of 3 TOs.

Nets will score 25 points out of Rockets TOs and kill the Rockets with fast breaks.

    My mistake. Let's try again.

    Conventional wisdom on the BBS:

    Stevie Francis:
(Saturday) Shoots too much and hurts the offense.
(Monday) Belongs on the Olympic team.

    Yao Ming:
    (Saturday) Looks tired and tentative.
    (Monday) Made Eddie Curry cry.

    Boki:
(Saturday) Wasted draft pick, another Langhi.
    (Monday) Slovenian superstar.

    Jeff Van Gundy:
(Saturday) Hasn't changed a thing. Bring back Rudy T!
(Monday) Defensive genius, coach of the year.

    Carroll Dawson should be:
    (Saturday) Fired.
    (Monday) Canonized.

    Moochie Norris is:
    (Saturday) God-awful.
    (Monday) God-awful.

The era of good feelings will continue tonight.

This will be close. Rjeff and Kidd will start with an awesome first quarter, we will look like the bulls, the BBS will almost crash because of the I hate Mobley threads. But then Yao and Francis and JJ bring on their game. Yao scores 5 in a row, JJ shuts RJ down and scores 15 points on him, And francis throws 5 oops to cato to get the houston leade back up by 2

Jim Jackson will show up at the arena with Toni Braxton on his arm and sit her in ther front row for JKidd to see every time he goes down the floor. Kidd will be so furious that he will turn the ball over a dozen times and clank another dozen off of the rim. :D

Honestly this is one game that I have a heard time judging. I think Yao will feel some fatigue because of the back to back but I think he will still get off to a fast start as usuall.

I don't really know what to expect from Zo but I really don't think he will perform up to his pre kidney problem standerds. Plus he gives up about 7 inches to Yao Ming so if Kidd and Jefferson take away the outside shots then I expect Yao Ming to get more shots than last night.

Van Gundy's improved defense will make things a lot harder on Jefferson and Kidd and they will get nothing easy on the inside. Neither is a great outside shooter and I suspect that is where they will have to get most of their scoring.

I think the Rockets front court will out muscle the Nets front court and the Rockets win a close one in Jersey.

    Rox 89
    Nets 85

    Yao Ming 20pts 11rebounds 1block

    Francis 17pts 6assists and 3steals.

Transition defense will be tested mightily here. Memphis burned the Rox repeatedly when Yao couldn't keep with Lo Wright. Big test for JVG. Yao better have enough energy to keep up. A deeper bench would have helped alot in this game.

Odd stat so far this season:
Braggs significant PT = Rockets blowout.
    Braggs DNP = Rockets loss.

    Question for odd stat:

Was Braggs significant playing time a result of the blow out or was the blow out a result of Bragg's significant playing time?

I just want to see Yao block the **** out of Richard "Its like it was Eddie Griffin for Jason Collins straight up" Jefferson, this guy is too freaking smug and I get tired of him thinking he is so great, he was blessed to play with Jason Kidd who makes him as good as he is.

I am worrying about Maurice Taylor more than anybody. His 33% shooting percentage is pathetic, but he takes as many shots as Yao.

in the last game against jersey the rockets got blown out. francis said he took it personally and would remember how the nets ran up the score. im not sure about a win, but i predict francis is going to go off tonight.

Rox win tonight 87-78. Definitely a defensive game here.

About Moochie ... I really like the guy and I've not been a part of the Moochie bashers all season and I have really been trying to give him a chance to play some games. After watching this season, and especially last night, I am convinced that he has got to go. The TOs are rediculous and there is nothing worse than your PG dribbling the ball around running down the 24 second clock. Sorry Mooch ... You're a good guy, but you've got to go now.
