I'm very proud of the way the guys came back in the 2nd half. I didn't expect it. Steve scored when we needed him too.Taylor bounced back, rebounded well and scored too which made me excited. Cat didn't take bad shots. Yao was a disappointment for me. It's hard to go up against Zo but he has to try to put more effort against physical players.
JJ played very well and finally got some three pointers too which is encouraging. I hope we can build on this win and not fall back into our old ways.

    Now, let's see what happened...

    Yao 10/11 Win over Mourning 8/5 :D
    Francis 17/10 Win over Kidd 16/6 :D
Team Rockets 86 Win over Nets 75 :D

    WE WIN! :D :D :D

However, let's do even BETTER next time! (e.g. less turnover, 22 tonight!)

    Go Yao!
    Go Francis!
    Go Rockets!

Nearly a tripple double for SF tonight.

Great win by the Rockets, I had to stop watching with 3 minutes left in the game and it was a 1 point game. Next thing I knew we were up by 11 and the game was over! (when i came back)

    Talk about Clutch!!

Cuttino and Mo really won this game for us! :D

Steve Francis should of dunked on that steal he made from Jason Kidd.

JJ maybe a homewrecker but he's looking like a steal. He reminds me of Mario Elie, guy who can do a little bit of everything and a hustle guy who is not afraid of mixing it up.

Great win, the players seem to be buying into the JVG system, especially the defense.

I think the sign of a good team is to have a bad game and still beat the best team in the East.

Rockets' opponents get a lot of offensive rebounds because our defense is forcing them to shoot low percentage outside shots, which result in a lot of bad misses and long rebounds.

This is just like the Grizz loss, fortunately with better results. We played like crap and the Nets' fourth quarter collapse helped us. However, an ugly win is still a win and I'll take it.

I like how Kidd does his little kissy-kissy deal when he shoots his FT's. I guess he's imitating how his wife's face swelled up after he smacked her. :D

A couple of numbers everybody should like:

We are shooting 47.7% as a team

    and

We have the largest point differential in the league, +13.0 points in the league. Point differential has been an excellent predictor of win percentage. (The Sonics actually have a better differential, but all they've played is the Clippers twice, so we'll just ignore them for now)

All those people calling the Rockets pathetic can eat crow. The game is 48 minutes long and we ended up on top 3 out of 4 of them. Of course I want them to play well and lead the entire game. But let's wait until the game is over before bashing them so hard. If all you want to do is bash you can eat crap and die.

    CLUTCHCITY IS BACK BABY!!!!

    Wowwie Wow Wow Wow!!!!

+Could it be that we're developing mental toughness???
+Could it be we are developing that Killer Instinct???
+Could it be we are starting to believe that we can win EVERY game???

What a great game. I'm too happy to analyze it!

nah, Steve did the right thing by playing it safe. I know there's been a few times he tried to get fancy and turned the ball over instead.
