Harden and Dwight are paid to be the focal point of this offense. Once Dmo is moved and gets himself a nice hefty contract. That's when he will be the focal point of that teams offense. But here in Houston, no sir.

That's a lot of fans problems on here. They concentrates on the negative oof one particular player instead of the win. But hey it's a blog so even during a win one will point out the negatives. And there is nothing wrong with that I guess. Lol

A lot of people look at someone who points out negatives and say they aren't fans. But I think they are real fans because they deal and reality and are concerned about the future. We beat some easy teams and Dwight is not playing his best ball. Yes be happy for the win but also with all of this bone on bone talk it is o to be concerned about the future especially for a team that used to have Yao Ming and Tracy Mcgrady on its roster.

Yes sir injuries are always a major concern when it comes to your Superstar players and rotational players. All we can do is hope for the best. Now as far as beating the not so good teams, well IMHO that's a great thing. Still helps you get into the playoffs. You get there and let the cards lay where they fall correct. Every team deals with these flaws (negatives) I just hope we are able to overcome them by time the post season rolls around.

Oh yeah I completely agree, that's how you win 60 games you beat up on the bad teams. But in order to do well in the playoffs you need some experience beating the good too. That being said last year the Spurs sucked at beating elite teams but they killed the bad to average ones and still won in the playoffs, so who knows.

    Two things:

    1) We are witnessing greatness personified right now. James Harden is the best basketball player in the NBA as of right now. That's including LeBron, Durant, Anthony Davis, and whoever else you want to throw out there. As of this moment, Harden is playing better than all of them. We are lucky to have him here in Houston.

    2) The alternates need to become our road jerseys permanently, with a white and red version for home games. That's the best jersey in the NBA right there, whereas our regular jerseys are among the worst.

you never know....there is a certain positive trend around league to disregard salaries in order to make their teams better

    1. Josh Smith the most expensive player of Pistons is waived...hes paid not to play - ingenious move
    2. Deron williams and Lopez paid to be the guys... benched for jaret jack and plumlee....

This is in order for you not to be able to say after we lose a couple in a row or when we lose in playoffs:
    "knee jerk threads!"...

Thus we will be able to say legitimately : 'we told you before....'

So basically it's a win win for you then. Lol

Every fan will have their complaints. But to always complaining after win is crazy to me.

That is exactly right, good coaches play to win, regardless of egos......I am hopeful that McHale can get Dwight on board with more PnR and less post up work.

And for him to bench Josh when he goes Smithy with his shot selection.

It's an attitude of perpetual dissatisfaction. It's not about tangible, rational thought or analysis. People would find something to criticize even if we blew out the Warriors on primetime ABC or some ****.

There will always be extreme segments of any population and they tend to be some of the loudest out there. The board doesn't need anyone to go out of their way to act in some kind of contrarian persona to control homerism or rationality. There are plenty enough intelligent people on here to keep a pretty good semblance of reality.

I agree , I was just kidding of course, actually I never ever complain...I find it somewhat sissy and unmanly to complain whether on forum or in private life... I rather involve in debating, suggesting or analysing for amusement or educational purposes what could be done even better or involve in wondering what made coach to do this or that instead of this or that...I often wonder whats there behind the scene, of information, that is not available to me and perhaps causes coach do what he does...
