I'm sure the media will mention that point when they talk about this game repeatedly ...

(Not picking on you, I just dread how the media is going to slam us after this.)

If we had begun the game running P&R with Yao and Mac immediately, we might not have dug such a big hole in the first place.

Llook at your PF and PG position before you are ****ing on your center.

If you don't get the ball, how can you shoot? Get off the big guy's back for a while.

YOu GUYS LISTEN UP, HAD WE HAD A DECENT PF, WE WERE THE WINNER.

We have 1 1/2 guys that can create, one big fellow that can finish. The rest pretty much are spot up. We have 4 SGs, no PG, no PF, oldest team in the league. I am amazed that Dallas didnt findd out about it till game 7. Major props to JVG.

It is a good year, a good first-round, but I have to say this is a damn shameful loss.

CD has a lot to do this summer.

6-33fg's from all role players combined

we will need athleticism in the offseason, a legitimate 4 with jho coming off the bench, resign mutumbo, and hopefully a legit pg that will hit yao in the post consistently.

great job by cd in getting the talent we have now, and for jvg on a season well fought. but much work remains to be done.

Not to mention all the double teams that gave the Mavs the open looks.

JVG's stubborn because he has one coaching motto, along the line of good teams stick to what they do best. He has talked about it with the media. IMO he has overdone that line to the point of failing to make adjustments. Every team is different, what is best against one team doesn't mean the same against another.

Be ready. People will hate on Houston now, and refer to this game. "T-Mac crying on the bench" will be repeated over and over.

Until they present the Finals MVP to T-Mac next year, of course.

How are you going to coach when there is such huge gap of talent lelvels between these two teams. Van Gundy did his best. No second guessing here.

    Pain.

with all the injuries and so many personnel changes, things were stacked against us. a more comfortable tmac and a more confident yao along with some added help at the 1 and 4 should make us a stronger team next year, barring injuries and conspiracies.

Actually, the fact that it was a blowout made the ending easier to take. It was sort of a slow death. Anyways, our guys did well, and like I said in another thread the Mav's payroll is almost 30 million higher than ours and we were missing our starting 4 the entire series. Dallas was better, but we'll be okay, just got to get better roleplayers and stay healthy next year. I'm proud of the Rox, it was a great season. :)

I left Texadelphia with 5 minutes in the game. TMAC really cired on the bench? Someone has to have a pic of that.
