I won't be rooting for either the Suns and obviously not the Mavs. I hope the Heat win it all I guess.....

In retrospect, I think all the roster shuffling got us as far as it could. We picked up smart old guys who could pull out some games and might have made us a championship team if they were the 9th and 10th guys instead of the 6th and 7th. But we just ran out of gas.

So let's go make those guys the 9th and 10th like they should be.

AFAIC, we didn't lose by 40. We lost by 1 game. 4 games to 3 games. Considering that every other series except Ind/Bos was a blowout at least we took a title contender to the max.

Wow. Yao and TMac combined for 60 while the rest of the ENTIRE Team had 13. Speaks volumes about what we have to do this offseason.

BTW, the role players were 6-33 from the floor in the game.

Yao/TMac got 60, and the role players got 16.

why did they interview dirk after the game? shouldn't they at least have gotten someone who showed up for the game (which would eliminate 10 of the 12 rockets)? or the series?

This is what happens when 2 of your players account for 79% of the points!!!!

I feel terrible for TMac. I am definitely glad we got him this season and he played his heart out for us. Don't worry TMac, the Rockets will come back invigorated next season. Watch out NBA!

The Suns and mavs are my least favorite teams, but with all the flopping mavs do I will never root for them. they are truly the new jazz, but I will be rooting for the Spurs and Detroit for the rest of the playoffs

The Rockets really quit playing down by 20, the Mavs just didn't stop scoring and we went to garbage time. So yes while it was a blowout, they didn't REALLY battle out with a 40 point win.

A loss is a loss if even by 1 point. I know public perception is important, but they just showed us why they are the much more "capable" team, they just didn't play like it early on in the series. Dallas tonight showed you how dominant they can be, something we just can't touch even if ALL our players were on...it is called "talent differential".

Oh well, I am sure I will go to the BBS main page now and see a bunch of non-stop idiotic posts about how "this player sucks" and that "player sucks" or how the "coach sucks".

    Let the immature ranting begin!

I think the finals will be:

    Spurs vs. Heat

    Spurs champions

Exactly, they've got a lot better roleplayers than us, Terry/Finley/Howard(sometimes) were unconscious and carried them with Dirk playing like crap. We don't have any guys that can consistently do that, and when we did (James) we won.

Cmon guys, we'll be okay we've got 7-9 years to get the chemistry and right guys. :)

Every Maverick player scored....only 6 Rockets scored..and mostly garbage points. Can't win like that...man I miss Kelvin Cato right now, he would have laid a elbow on flopwitzki and knocked that smirk off Dirk's face

what u say is correct our roleplayers should be the backup to role players the proper role players. Not all of them but a good many of them.

Wesley Sura, Padge and though I like Barry alot need to put out in pasture. They are a veterans but not the ones this team should keep nor pursue if it is still stuborn about going thru the veteran route in building a potential champ team.

Does anyone feel a little upset that they held Tmac out the whole fourth quarter? I would have liked to have seen him in there.
