Ok, from Will's pecpective, Yao does need to play consistent so that his teammates cannot pass him up. Like Chuck said, you never know which Yao would show up in a game, and that's bothersome.

    Game Over.
T-MAC's 1st Quater panic ,Sura's no-defense, and JVG's dumb game coaching cost the game.

I like that JVG is resting Tracy for the rest of the game. Lord knows he's earned rest after the miracles he's worked in this series.

Van Gundy just got outcoached this game...Tmac and Yao have 58 of the points. Dallas lets Yao and Tmac have their points and they shut down the rest of the team. It's 5v2. Dallas's bench is killing our bench.
The bench just got cold and asked Tmac and Yao to carry the team...Meanwhile, the whole Mavs team is contributing. That's why Houston is losing.

Hardly. We won two games easily. They won one game easily. The other four were close. I'd say the teams a very much even.

Another 55+ point performance by our two stars, but never close to good enough with the type of supporting cast they got.

    McGrady looks absolutely devastated:(

It is OK, nothing comes easy, you must struggle and lose and lose until you finally win. That is why there is zero substitute for playoff experience together as a team.

Yao and T-Mac will be the deadliest duo in the league next season. Mark my words.

We just had a 51 win season dispite the terrible start and role players that hasn't done much in their previous teams. Wesley who was the starter for Hornets whom were the worse team in the league when he got traded, Sura was with Atlanta last year, Barry couldn't even get off the bench at Atlanta this year, Mike James who didn't even start for the Bucks, Mutombo who barely gets a game at New York as their third string center, Padgett who is supposedly our third string center, and Bowen who barely qualify has a NBA player. Basically without Yao, its not too far fetched to say Rockets are Magics of last season with a better coach. Yao despite not meeting his expectation according to some, atleast demands a double team down low and along with McGrady, makes our role players look better than what they actually are. I too thought Yao would be a 20/10 player this season, but atleast he has improved this season compared to last, and I see more progression ahead once he get more time off summer to work on some of his skills. We are lucky to have Yao, he was the reason McGrady came in the first place, and within 2 seasons, he can be the best center in the league.

    -G'day-

Well, one consolation, is that the whiney Mavs will meet the equally whiney Suns in round 2. The officials will have a tough time with that series deciding who gets the ticky tack foul and who the flop goes against eh?

Collins mentioned it taking KG 8 tries to get out of the first round. But the difference is that the media basically kept saying that his teammates sucked. They don't give TMac that consideration; instead opting to put it all on TMac. I imagine that's gotta take a lot out of a guy after a while.

I'll be rooting for Amare to dunk it on Dirk's head every single game. I cant stand the guy, butat leasthe isn't flopping and hoping the refs bail him out on every posession

Those tears will drive T-mac all next season. We thought he carried us this season. He won't let this happen again. Great is a word that won't even begin to describe his play next season.
