Man, the media is going to have a field day on our team and city. How the hell do we regroup from this?

Guys...what do our cap figures look like for next season? If I'm right, we have almost ZERO in the way of flexibility to go out and get some players.

PLEASE dont forget to let the management know your feeling. Lets hope the organisation dont give Yao any offer. It's even better if u can start a campaign of something like "Please Trade Yao as soon as possible" and I will be the first one to sign up. :D

I'm sorry if I sound too harsh on Yao. It's just that earlier in the year, I was ready to throw in the towel on him becoming a great player, and then I got my hopes up, and after only one great game in the past six, I was really counting on him to step up tonight. And now I see him playing in a pointless fourth quarter with the intensity we so could have used when it counted. It's always like this with him. So now I have to throw in the towel again and see him the way many of you have already gotten used to seeing him: with lowered expectations.

I just don't think we're a championship team if he plays at the level of those expectations.

The reason I'm being hard on him is that I had hopes for him that I never had for Sura or Wesley or any of those guys. Those guys are just role players, and they know it. Yao could be so much more. But aside from being 7'5", night in and night out, he isn't.

Man as much as I cant stand the suns I hope they beat the crap out of the Mavs. I know the mavs beat us, but I still say they suck. There just overpaid crap players other teams suckered the mavs to take.

Kidd isn't gonna make us all that better . . . Sura's knees might be in better shape than his . . . and he doesn't exactly make us younger. Not to mention that after tonight, no team in the NBA will want anything we have to offer.

So Will, what do you suggest we do about Yao then?

We obviously ARE NOT building around him since the only guy who can make a post pass to him is TMac and not any of our point guards. We don't have any defensive power forwards to back Yao up. What do we do in the offseason about Yao hmmm? I know what you're thinking. Might as well man up and speak your mind.

We are one PF away. Yao had 5 blocks, got his own rebound once, rest of those blocked shots end up in Mavs hands.

    choujie,

I have watched the entire series and season...

Deke may not come in and score 20 to 30 points... But he doesn't need to.

He comes in at the ripe young age of 38, 39 or 40 (Take your pick) and he changes the other teams shot. He may not block every shot and he doesn't have to. He changes the pace of the game on and how the other team plays.

He takes away the middle, so that means the opponent must make outside shots.

When Yao is in, the other team is not afraid too attack the basket. So if Yao is off, he is basically a liability to the team.

The Mavs were the better team...period. Too many good shooters. Terry was the MVP of the series, I think he surprised everyone, even JVG.
