Do we have any idea what Yao's summer schedule looks like? Is he gonna have any time off of note?

Guys when you lose by 30 points, there are probably 10 different real reasons you lost ... Bottom line is we got beat tonight and got beat bad .. I can handle this tonight, but not the game 3, 4, and 5 losses. Those were inexcusable for a variety of reasons. Tonight was the first time we got beat.

I wonder what the outcome would of been if we had Juwan for this series....

Padgett just sucks and I'm surprised JVG quit using Bowen.

Rockets are going to get some new younge rmore athletic players in. This was just testing season. First season with McGrady. It was very successful..we should have won this series too even with all these old guys.

We add 3 good solid players and we're gonna be really really good.

padgett man wow worst game of the season not a good game to play this crappy

oh btw 13 points per minute. we can score 13 x 8 = 104 points and win by 70

Dude, that's a freakin' idiotic thing to say.

Yao's shooting 70%+. The rest of the Rockets, 30%. And yea, the problem tonight is Yao is soft.

    Jesus h. christ. Idiots.

Imagine T-Mac, with a power forward that bangs inside, and a legit NBA point guard.

Yao could sit on the bench and we'd make it to the conference semifinals.

The future is bright. Stay positive!

I love this team. Yao and T-Mac tandem will be awesome in the next 10 years. Don't lose faith if you are a true Rockets fan.

Yao is a bail out option until JVG calls timeout.

yes, because apparently when Yao is making shots, it scares the role players into shooting 20%.

How the hell can you say YAO has gotten a chance to prove himself as the centerpiece of a team. Look at the crap around him the last couple years. Look how many new players have been here. How many good shooters have there been?? T-MAC will always be T-MAC he scored like he did when he was in Orlando but did you not see his other stats get better this year?? Because of YAO......Give them time to build a team and you will see.

Not in the playoffs except game 6 if you watched entire series.

What kills me is how much the media is going to crap on the Rockets after this game.

Well, what kills me is that we lost, but I;m dreading the crap we're going to hear.

It shouldn't even be Yao's responsibility to stop penetration. That's the guards' jobs. Yao should only be the last line of defense. Rick Barry said it best, the guards need to stop penetration AT THE PERIMETER. Letting Terry get by EVERY play is just unacceptable. If the D is as it should be, Terry should be stuck on the perimeter every play...look at what Dallas did to Tmac...they kept him on the perimeter most of the game. Did not allow him to penetrate. THat's one reason why Dallas won.

I have always been critical of Yao in the past and many jackasses here have labled me as a Yao basher which is far from the truth.

What I see in Ming this season has been much better than last post season, last year he basically had only 1 good game in 5. this year he showed up 3 of 7. still could be better and room to improve nxt year.

As to the Mcgrady and Ming PNR, and the remarks mcgrady done all the work and Ming feeding like a parasite out of that.

First, the regular season T-mac was not the one setting up Ming, and as I remember there was NO talk about the Mcgrady and Ming so called "deadly PNR"

It was other players mainly barry that fed Ming for either the hook shot or turnaround jumper or fadeaway jumpers. So ming averaging 18 points during the season was hardly the work of Mcgrady, and there was neglible PNR weapon we utilzied during the reg season.

Remember also there were articles coming out how Mcrady and Ming were not meshing in terms of their games during the second half of the season and onwards, so how the hell can Ming's scoring be soley dependent on Mcgrady?

Moreover In the postseason how many times have you seen Ming take a jumper or fadeay during the 7 games? I count as many as the number of fingers in one hand.

Vand Gundy has -for his reason- not allowed Ming to be a jump shooting center this series but preferred him to play the pick game with T-mac so the reason why it looks like Yao is a parasite of Mcgrady's drives is just that, the empahisis on the PNR.

Refresh my memory -- when was the last time we got this throttled in a road game? Maybe against the Warriors, but that was closer than this. Very surprised by this end result. You would have liked to have seen the team take a better swing than this.

The Mavs finished the season as the hottest team in the NBA, and they seemed to have picked up where they left off.

I know this may sound controversial but in this series when Yao sucks the Rockets actually play better because it means Deke is in the game and they are playing much better defense.

For example: Yao played like crap in Games 1 and 6 and the Rox won those games by double digits. In the other games in which he played well, the Rox are 1-4.
