David Wesley, Bob Sura and Jon Barry have just not shown up tonight. There is a talent deficit.

I feel bad for T-Mac, he is trying to force his team to a win:(

Yah well, Yao just picked his 4th. They are going small, I thin kwe MUST go small now.

We made a little run, and then the Mavs went back on a little run due to our crappy defense (slow defense might be more fair, but whatever you want to call it).

Yah well, We gotta play with what we have.

The Mavs are free stroking and driving at will...last thing you want a offensive team to do is for them to be in a groove and play loose...

yeah sorry but based on observations..we lost
3 guys lol all like 6-1..haha all they can do is watch howard jump and lay it up over them.
    :)

    We had a great season.

We can still cut the lead though. Down how much 20. We can score 10 and get it to 10 point game. 4th quarter plenty of time to go on 30-0 run.

Seriously though we need the f'in role players to play some defense and make shots.

I agree about MJ and Deke. I'd like to keep Barry cuz he's energetic and stuff. The rest please exchange them for better parts.

I wish Yao would stop trying to be everybody's friend and just f**k* someone up once in a while.

    *figuratively speaking, of course.

Man, the lead is just too big right now. They haven't shaved anything off of it, in fact they are +3

it's pointless to go small. All of Dallas's guards run circles around Houston's guards and on top of taht, Dallas is shootiing great from the outside.

They need to get that SnR on a regular basis and punish Dallas for being small.

Rockets need a PF desperately. On D, after each block by Yao, nobody else was there to secure the rebounds. On offense, after a shot is missed, Yao is battling with 3 guys down low.

I know I'm the resident Yao crank around here. But I think it's time to stop calling this a McGrady-Yao team. This is McGrady's team, and Yao is just another guy out there who may or may not help, depending on the situation. Baskets by Yao in a Yao-McGrady play are created by McGrady, not by Yao. Yao just finishes.

OK, so let's put a couple of other offensive options out there. But enough of this "let's get Yao involved" stuff. McGrady wastes way too much energy trying to "get Yao involved" when Yao is fumbling passes or getting stripped or freaking out and lobbing the ball back out. Let's put 3 or 4 options out there for McGrady to use, and if Yao ends up being option #4, so be it.

It just kills me when opponents say they're going to shut down our role players and let Yao and McGrady get their points. If Yao and McGrady got their points, we'd win. It's McGrady who holds up his end, and Yao becomes just another role player who's not stepping up.
