If some can control J. Terry, we still can win the game.

 

I think some of you are underestimating how badly we're getting our butts kicked out there. It's not just a matter of missing shots. We're giving up way too many easy baskets. It's the D, it's the rebounding, it's the inability to penetrate -- it's just plain not having the personnel out there to run a reliable play.

Like I said, I hope we pull it out. But if we do, I don't think we can call it playing at the level of our abilities. We'd have to call it playing above them. And from a GM point of view, that's a sign that changes must be made.

 

Yeah Josh is a little punk still. Don't know what's up with him.

And Terry..lol I dont' midn him.

I DESPISE mr dirk flopping all day though..ridiculous lol

Yeah we are supposed to be a good defensive team..but they are getting easy layups. Pdgett they just drive past him everytime..pretty sad. People are missing defensive assignments and stuff....horrible

I agree with what is being said. As bad as the team played the first half....15 points is nothing if they come out with the hunger for a victory. One quick 10-0 run and the game is at 5....Imagine another 19-2 run or like the 20 spot the Mavs dropped on us. All it takes is a run and we're back in this thing. I think JVG will come up with a great second half plan and out couch Avery Johnson

 

Jason Terry reminds a lot of a Nick Van Exel type. He is not a passer, but a great shooter/offensive player.

I hope Nick the Quick is willing to take a major paycut next season to start as our PG. I would even do a sign and trade with Sura/NVE, but preferably we can trade DW for NVE in a Sign and trade.

You just MUST have that third scoring option on a team. The Western conference teams of this era have too much depth scoring wise, and two even GREAT scorers won'tbe enough to counter that depth of a Dallas-caliber team.

 

I think it's safe to say that Dork is a basketcase in this series and it's all in his head now of why he's so crappy in this series. He is questioning himself in his mind, too bad the teammates are stepping up to save his overrated arse.

I can't see how they can blame Tracy if we don't win this game, he did everything in his power to win. It's the role players that will be questioned, we know that most won't be around when Yao and Tracy hit their prime, this will just accelerate the search for role players that will grow with TMac and Yao. Specifically, we need another pitbull to help Tracy around the perimeter D, ala Sottie Quitten.

 

Yeah seriously very similar.
But Nick is old now..on Blazers looks terrible. What about defense? He cannot play defense anymore..I'd rather get Stoudamire

a agree with you for the most part about our offseason plans.

we need a second rebounder on the court. the mavs kill us because they draw yao or deke away from the basket and then score on the other side or get an offensive rebound. i tihnk a young athletic energetic guy out of the draft will do us a lot of good at the 4. lets say we get warrick, rebounds and weak side shot blocking....


wesley needs to go IMO, i think we can hold on to sura. bob hit some big shots and is a big part of our teams personality. wesley should be traded for an athletic 3 to backup tmac. i think the lakers might go for a wesley/goerge trade.

use the MLE to sign a guard, either a 1 or a 2. something tells me JVG will bring in spree. i can't complain because if we had spree instead of wesley this series, stackhouse might not have hurt us, and that leads to us winning this series in 6.
