Our bench is 4-16 from the floor. They need to do a better job on both ends of the floor.

Yao might be playing his best game tonight in the series and we are still down 15.

Problem with playing Deke is that Yao is the only other player making any shots on the offensive end other than TMac (who isn't making a solid percentage to begin with), so unless JVG is going to play Yao and Deke at the same time, it's tough to justify sitting Yao.

They were talking about MVP point guards with Steve Nash and Ernie Johnson named off Magic, Cousy and someone else then Chuck goes "Allen Iverson".....Then EJ goes he was a 2-guard when he won now lets get back to the point of the conversation....or something to that effect.

I'm not sure if we will win by 5 or by 11 now. I'm wavering.

I think Yao stepping out to help the perimeter defense is not a good idea. Yao is just too slow to move back to the paint. It's giving Dallas layus by layup. Gundy should just let Yao roam in the lane.

Hard for me to say..the season's over. (Hopefully I'm wrong after 24 mins of game still to be played) The Mavs is a superior team with their quickness and depth...but still, a rockets at heart here :)

I don't know about you guys, but championship teams have role players that aren't fazed by the pressure.....and based on what I've seen so far, Sura and Padgett are completely ineffective and their presence on the court is hurting the Rockets more than helping them.

Sura and Padgett seemed overwhelmed by the situation and those are players that only hold teams back.

Remember Game 1 of the 1995 NBA Finals? When Orlando was blowing us off the court with their youth, speed, and athleticism? Down by 20-something on the road? And we closed the second quarter on a run to get it to a respectable deficit in the teens?

    I'm just sayin'.

And yes, I know that Hakeem and Clyde won't be suiting up in the 2nd half, but still ...

Hmm..Wesley one foul was ripping Dirk..maybe a foul..other time he was called for fouling Howard? And it was clean to me.

He made a 3 and some other stuff.

He got stuffed too. But Wesley has done so much this season. Jimmy I just don't like him anymore. He would just stand on offense..for some reason he looks much better as a Sun..I think because he changed his preparation for shooting a 3..and he's quicker to doing things..and he's just going fast..

But anyways I'm glad we have Wesley. I hope he's a backup next season though.

You are correct. Dallas is showing some major speed, the Rockets are not able to match up.

For those of you focused on Dirk, why? He hasn't really done much. Somebody get on Terry, my word, he looks like M.J. out there. He is just not as good as he has looked in this series.

TMac has had a rough shooting night, but I bet he finishes with forty. And props to Ming, he has played tough. This team will win or lose based on the performance of the role players. I still think they will win.

I don't think Dallas can duplicate the first half. If they do, more power to them. Except I would like to see Howard and Terry collide at mid-court, knock themselves out, and miss the rest of the playoffs. I really, really don't like them. They are soooo irritating. Maybe it is their facial expressions. Howard needs some major dental work.

We are not the most talented roster in this series, I'd say. And I agree that the Rockets have a serious weakness or two (or three)... they have been playing for weeks now in a fashion to maximize their strengths and cover these weaknesses. Seriously, we are starting 3 shooting guards, a forward with literally zero offensive game or zero defensive game and Yao Ming.

To be as good as they are is quite impressive. It's a testament to how dangerous Tracy McGrady is and how he creates open shots for all others involved. If McGrady and Yao can really smooth that pick-and-roll connection, they will be dangerous for many years. I expect Yao to sign an extension. They have to keep Mutombo and in my opinion Barry. I expect this summer to see 2 significant additions, with Howard becoming a 6th man off the bench, and my guess is the first round pick will be dealt towards that cause, but who knows.

(BTW, I'm not conceding this game one iota... I'm keeping the faith. Just the topic of next year came up and I think this summer is going to be a fun one for our roster)
