We got punjabbed by the refs, they consult on an out of bounds call and reverse the decision and give possession back to the Mavs. Yet in a crucial strip at the end of the game when JVG tells the refs that Finley came from out of bounds they don't consult and award the ball to the Mavs, bull****.

Even Dirk knew they got away with one, he said sometimes you have to get lucky to win. I wouldn't call it luck but a royal shaft job by the zebras. I noticed that every game has been officiated by a different crew, maybe the NBA needs to think about rotating only two crews for a series or even one in order to maintain some kind of consistency.

For game 6, Yao needs to start the game like he ended the game tonight, make the Mavs pay for that small lineup and get a big lead early on.

The current players in this team are just not good defensive players except for Yao, tracy and Motombe. All the others are just old legs. We should following the game one and two, try to out-shoot the other team.

David Wesley is a good defensive player for his size. But he is just too old and too short which create a mismatch in most cases.

I hate to see finley run from outofbound and steal the ball from Barry just like last game, they stole the ball from Tmac to secure the game. I can accept a lost, or two or three, but not like this.

But it also remind me one thing, a couple years ago, mavs fell 0-3 to Kings(?), and won next 3 to tie the series, but they LOST in game 7. A team soft like mavs can not win 4 in a row. We just need to fight like a man.

Yao did it tonight, even with the free throw misses. Hopefully yao will be more aggrssive and consistant to lift ROXs to one or two wins.

I also noticed this. I expect that by now, the Mav's are suffering from the same feeling Houston got last week -- that of inevitability. A few lucky calls/breaks and they are up 3-2. They believe there is nothing they can do to lose. But they've been winning by the skin of their teeth. Confidence gets you nowhere if you don't have the stuff to back it up. If Rox had hit their free throws tonight, this would've been a win.

I also forgot to mention the one where Terry drove the lane, T-Mac chasing him down, Yao going up to contest the shot, and Nowitzki gets an uncontested offensive rebound for an easy follow-up jam.

That one practically sealed the game. Yao moved a step away from the basket to defend Terry. No one tried to box out Dirk so he got the contested putback. It would still be a one possession game if...well...:(

This play showed how deseparate we are to get a defensive PF to help to defend the paint.

    Hell no.

I'm Rocket red all the way from way back, but was just making a point.

I hate Mavericks fans...and that's unfortunate because I'm dating one...in fact I just met her like a week before the series.

Funny thing is, I think her and I really have a future together. I mean, if this series hasn't driven us apart yet, what could? :p

Can someone please make a video of all of the horrible calls during the game. Please include Yao getting slapped by Nowitski as he put in a shot.

I have never seen so many horrible calls against one team in a single game. Freaking unbelivable.

This really sucks. I hope the Rockets come out Thursday and send this series to a 7th game. I was encourage with the fourth quarter play of TMac and Yao. The Rockets should go to that play between Yao and TMac when the Mavs play their small ball line-up. I believe the Rockets will be ready with two days to regroup and kick some ass!!

I think when a player, Finley, is out of bound, he can't play. If he brings his ball out, it is a turn over. If he hit opponent's ball, it is a foul. The rockets should get two free throws out it that foul.

So, the final score could have been

    102 : 101, a rocket win.

    Am I correct?

That Yao slap was audible over the crowd and the announcers. Doesn't get more blatant than that. I was pleasantly surprised that Yao finished the play even with Frau Dirk doing his best angry Rupaul impression.

It's strange. i was disappointed, but not upset after the game 3 loss. However, I was enraged by the gift the referees gave the Mavericks in game 4.

However, I am disappointed by this game, including the spotty officiating but not enraged. The Rockets will win game 6.

However, to win game 6 and the series the Rockets have to focus on what gave them success in the 4th quarter. Yao Ming can destroy ANY player that defends him. The Rockets must relentlessly make the Mavericks pay when they play small ball by running the pick and roll with T-mac and Yao on almost every possession. T-mac must continuously look for Yao if they double him each time. The good spacing the team had on this team must continue.

I really feel we'll game 6 and see where the chips fall in game 7. (It would be so nice, however, if there could be 2 games in a row where Yao does not get into foul trouble and the referees do not make eggregious calls).

Believe it or not, the Mavs were worse at the line!

They missed 11 too, but they only took 34.

Just we, especially our stars, did it at a bad time.

I think the rockets are pissed off. I want them to be angry.

Only an angry rockets team will destroy the Mavs on Thursday!

Yao in Chinese newspaper said, he really believe rockets is a stronger team than Mavs. He is pissed off.

I think those refs will have been stoned in Dallas if the terrible calls were against Mavs.
