Taking three shots of Hot Damn! in less than a minute is almost as good.

We didn't play an incredibly confident and healthy Dallas team every game during the regular season...

    :(

T-MAC has to show up for game 6..... we are not going anywhere without T-Mac...as much i liked Yao Mings' performance tonight.

...i thought the refd did a horrible job ALL night.... pathetic...

anyway this series is over if T-MAC does not become the man in Game 6...

also Mr.VanGrumpy should have put Bowen on Nowitzki for a little bit of the game....so T-MAC could get some rest....

overall just not a good game.....hated the rebound after rebound after rebound the Dallas MAvs were gettting in the 4th quater....if it was'nt for that...

Well, I just have one thing to say to you. You are stupid.

Wait, I got something else (promise it won't be as long as your one)

This isn't a kind of test where you can make 80, 90, 100 any time you want. We are a 5th place team playing a 4th place team. The teams are so close, a few bad bad calls can decide the outcome.

Missed FTs and referees aside, the Rox did us proud. They NEVER GAVE UP and left it all on the floor. This group of guys have character and did all they could tonight with the ability they have.

Well, I don't know WTF to think, now. I didn't think we'd lose three games in a row to the same team. I just don't know.

Even NBA.com admits that the luck and refs stole the game from us.

DALLAS, May 2 (Ticker) -- The Dallas Mavericks put an end to the home-court disadvantage, but not without a little help.

Benefiting from five missed free throws from Yao Ming, a pair of questionable calls and some remarkable good fortune, the Mavericks held on for a 103-100 victory over the Houston Rockets and a 3-2 lead in their Western Conference first-round series.

Dirk Nowitzki had 23 points and 13 rebounds for the fourth-seeded Mavericks, who became the first home team to win and gained tenuous control of the seesaw series. They can advance to the conference semifinals for the fourth time in five years with - what else? - a road win Thursday.

Dallas took the lead for good late in the second quarter but never felt comfortable with it. It nearly squandered an 11-point lead with 4 1/2 minutes to go by using the same small lineup that has turned around the series.

A jumper by Nowitzki made it 97-91 with 1:49 to play. Tracy McGrady sank two free throws and Yao was fouled with 1:21 left. He missed his fifth straight foul shot of the period before draining one to cut the deficit to 97-94 with 1:21 remaining.

Game Four hero Jason Terry missed a 3-pointer that was rebounded by Jon Barry, who had the ball slapped away by Michael Finley - whose feet were out of bounds. Jerry Stackhouse grabbed the loose ball and was fouled, sinking two free throws for a 99-94 lead with 56 seconds left.

Yao, who scored 15 of his 30 points in the final period, had a follow dunk and two free throws around a huge follow shot by Nowitzki, leaving Houston in a 101-98 hole with 17 seconds to play.

The Mavericks inbounded to Michael Finley, who was trapped in the corner by a pair of Rockets. Although neither defender touched Finley, a foul was called.

Finley split two free throws and McGrady made a layup with 7.4 seconds left. After a timeout, Marquis Daniels threw a risky long pass into the backcourt that was nearly intercepted by Mike James, who fouled Terry with 4.8 seconds to go.

Terry split the free throws, leaving the Mavericks with a three-point lead. McGrady was fouled in the backcourt by Stackhouse and missed the first free throw. He intentionally missed the second and somehow grabbed the rebound, dribbling to the arc before firing a jumper that hit the rim as time expired.

Stackhouse and Josh Howard scored 17 points apiece for the Mavericks, who had six players in double figures.

McGrady scored 25 points but made just 7-of-22 shots. The superstar swingman is one loss away from another first-round elimination.

I hate the result but God I love Yao Ming. The man has shown me alot. No matter what happens from here on out Yao Ming is a max player and Yao Ming is a force to be reckoned with. I know the refs are screwing it up. But sooner or later they're going to have to respect this man. He is just becoming The Microcosm for this team. Props to Yao in the fourth quarter.

yeah. He could really do something when assertive. From
now on, he should do that more consistently. Show your fire. Yao.

Tonight, on national TV, I witnessed a grave injustice. I have lost faith in the integrity of the league. Is it too much to ask for a fair and evenly called game?

NBA disgraced itself in front of its fans today. Its like the Pope walking out in public and stripping himself stark naked in front of little kids. The difference is that the Pope would never be able to repent, while the NBA refs will be rewarded by the almighty David Stern. :(

It should be blamed to the 7 game winning streak before the end of the regular season. Had we lost one in the middle of those same game, we will have more energy going to the playoff. 7 plus 2 is a nine game winning streak, rox could make it 10. They peaked already during that period.

But now we will bounce back from this 3 game losing streak and start another winning streak.

The old chinese saying: The good stuff always comes in the end. be patient.

In this analogy, a 100 would be like blowing a team out. A 70 would be winning.

I was under the impression that winning won games...

It's ok though, you are exhibiting the exact line of thinking that I was referring to when I made that post. I would expect nothing less.

We'll agree to disagree, I hope. I don't need any more anger in my system tonight.
