This team better come out ready to play game 5. The effort is poor tonight.

 

The team mentality wise is still not quit there. They still don't have that edge a lot of the championship contending teams have at times. The most disappointing thing is that the Rox just didn't bring the effort like they needed to.

 

Rick was beating Smith there. He saw the frustration on Smith's face and used it to his advantage.

 

If McHale could just at least TRY OUT Nick Johnson and see how he works... I mean there is nothing to lose, we're going to lose this game unless we D up Barea right now.

McHale needs to make some adjustments.

 

Take out the starters. They thought out was over in the second quarter.

The difference is that Dallas have shot the lights out

sometimes the credit should be given to the other team because sometimes you can defend your best even though they hit every shot

this is obvious a fluke game by us but daam is it hard to watch. the mavs arent a good defensive team. they picked it up on that end but rockets just missing easy ass shots.

 

I don't think he was upset about the intentional foul. Smith was upset about a push on the prior play.

 

Yes. And the 72-10 Bulls lost Game 4 in a blowout to Seattle in the 1996 Finals. And the 69-13 Bulls lost Game 4 to Miami the following year.

Even the greatest teams of all-time sometimes have trouble sweeping a 7 game series. Let's not crucify the Rockets for one bad game. Now if they come out in Game 5 and play like this, then there's cause for anger(and concern).

 

The offense doesn't concern me. Every team has an ice cold day.

The defense, though? Yeah...that's a problem. For a team that is supposed to be very strong defensively, to get absolutely thrashed like this is very concerning.
