Barea should be called for dropping his shoulder in to players to open space so he can shoot, probably doesn't get called for it because he is small

Don't think we will but why even leave the door open is my question ? There is an easy way to do things and a hard way. We lead by 9 after one. If we brought our A game and they gutted it out, most here, me included would say it just happened. But, to have a team YELLING kill Me and let them off the mat by not playing with effort is both baffling and troubling.Probably won't matter in this series but definitely will moving forward. And, we could have bought some valuable REST. You know Dwight just came off of "limited minutes" a few games back.

Had a lot of respect for Dirk, but he flopped like a vagina tonight.

Count, I appreciate your succinct responses. All the shortcomings you mentioned is not "brand new info" for the rockets nor the history of the nba.

What does it take to get players to leave it all out, pedal to the metal, all game every game in the playoffs?

I just wish players would stop reverting to what little effort and focus they can "get away with" and just play hard with the same focus every game.

Mav's are so much better without Rondo, it's not even a question.

I say we still recoup that rest given we literally are traveling 45 minutes and not 4 hours like the Spurs/Clips so that's 12+ hours of additional rest. (Analytics)

I know this loss stings a lil now...but i truly believe it will help us be better going forward. Adjustments will be made. We needed this to test our character.

Mavs are confidence is through the roof. Winning big tonight and only losing by 2 last game. Hopefully the Toyota center can give the Rockets an extra boost to close this out.

You have a point there but could have saved playing another 48 minutes...PERIOD. SA is closer to Houston but I'd rather play the Clips personally. SA knows how to win a Championship..not sure about the Clips or even GS for that matter.

So Dwight had 26 boards in game 3 (new playoff career high) and Harden had 42 points. It took that much for us to win game 3 with no Patbev or Dmo and no Parsons or Rondo for them. It's clear they are indefinitely better without Rondo and that has changed everything for the Mav's. Sitting Dwight out majority of the 3rd wasnt a great idea either. Whats with all this resting your star players during a game? I guess I wouldn't know since I'm not a coach. I just really hope we play hard on Tuesday and seal the series.

This is why I just shook my head at those saying LOL Carlisle earlier in the series.

    I'm the biggest jinx.

No more Rox v mavs at AAC for me, ever.

I've been 10 times or so between 2006 and now, and not only has Houston only won once when I've gone (2008, Tmac, Yao, Artest"), but every Mav win is double digits.

I'm done. Over 10 years the frustrations build up. Never again. My first playoff game ever, f this.

Rockets in 5 at home. We're not missing THAT many open shots again this series. Barea is not God.

I wish the Rockets wouldn't have games like this either. But it happens to most NBA teams, even championship caliber ones. Good Lord, the 1994-95 Rockets were notorious for underestimating crappy opponents and losing gimme games(remember the loss at the Clippers that led to the Drexler trade?).

The Rockets got cocky. They thought they could turn it on in the 2nd half and that would be enough. Let's not forget that not only did they get away with that approach in Game 3, but also in their last regular season game in Dallas where they also played like crap for 3 quarters before picking it up in the 4th quarter and coming from behind to win. And to a lesser extent, they did it in Game 2 at Toyota Center.

Now they know they can't do that anymore. If they're gonna close this series out, they need to go out there and outwork the Mavs. It won't be handed to them. They need a Game 1 type of performance on Tuesday.

If folks thought it was bad tonight(although there is a meltdown after every loss), gonna be ugly if they lose game five.

    Panic in the streets.

    Game six back in Dallas.

And if they lo...nope, not going there. :p

You know winning 4 in a row against a bitter rival is really hard right? this Dallas team def doesn't have any quit in them like Toronto or Portland....

They were the No.1 offense in the league pre-Rondo right? It's fine. We just do that damn thing in the TC Tuesday.

I'm confidant we take them at home on Tuesday.
