This game will be much tougher than Game 1. In Game 1 we took them by suprise and threw their whole game plan off balance. Game 2 will be more precise unless JVG pulls a rabbit out of his hat again to throw off their game plan. Tmac will come through but will not have to be superman as Yao will take a lot of load off him this time around. Padgett will play more minutes and be a key factor as Mike James or barry will not shoot as well as they did in game 1. We will win but not by 12 like game one. Rockets 100, Mavs 89. :p

Rockets win Mcgrady will have an ok night, and Yao will have a above average night, with James,Barry, and Wesley having big games.

    Ugh.

I hate those game reports on nba.com. Seeing that clip some might think Dallas won the game.

They will never admit it, and it is not fully conscious, but I have seen many let downs in game two of numerous playoff series after winning game one on the opponents home floor. The Rockets must raise the intensity for game two.

JVG starts Dikembe Mutumbo at PG to take advantage of Dekes height advantage at the position. Rox win because Deke gets 50 points on layups and dunks on the much smaller defender.

JVG is God. Rox steal another game in Big-D.

Rockets take it to the Mavericks again. Mavs bounced back and come back strong, but they're jut not as good as the Rockets.

We kicked their asses in the fourth quarter and win the game handily and head home for a sweep.

    Rockets 129
    Mavs 112

Yao will shut up all doubters by swatting 6 shots and getting 15 boards while destroying the Mavs inside by scoring 39 points.

TMac dialing it up and get 25 points, 18 assists, 8 rebounds and 5 steals.

Mike James, Barry, Sura, Wesley raining threes like candies because the Mavs are forced to double and triple up on Yao and TMac.

The one thing that i love about JVG is that i know he'll be ready for any kind of adjustments that are needed to be made.

We are prolly the most prepared basketball team going to a game and that's really an advantage.

    As for predictions:

Dirk has a better game but Yao does too. I think dirk goes for 30 but so does tmac. Toss in Yao's 20/8/2 and the rocks smell blood...back to h-town up 2-0 and the series in our grasps

    Rox: 95
    Mavs: 87

we win. Yao bounces back and doesn't foul out. T-Mac drops 30. Dirk probably plays better, but it won't matter.

The Mavs will come out smokin' in Game 2 and will be on fire. Their effort and concentration will be amped up to the sky. The key for the Rox is to not fall too far behind because the Mavs will not be able to keep up that effort the whole game. If the Rox stay close, the game will be theirs for the taking. If it's close in the 4th quarter, the Mavs will be jittery and tired. We've just gotta keep it close early because their energy level will eventually disappate. If they don't have a big lead to show for the effort, they will get discouraged and demoralized..

First, thanks for posting that again, Remix. I was looking for that, but couldn't remember what thread it was in.

Second, this game is going to be so much tougher for the Rockets. You better believe Dallas is gonna come out with something to prove and with some force. I believed the Rockets would beat the Mavbricks way before yesterday's game started, but knowing that I still realized it wasn't gonna be easy. I originally predicted in 7 games. The Rockets played awesome yesterday, but everyone has to remember that Dirk had a bad game, and they had one of their worst shooting games. This game will be close, and the Rockets may even trail by a little for most of the game. There is no question I think the Rockets are a better team, but let's remember who they are facing before we get too happy. The Mavbricks won 58 games, had one of the better home win percentages, finished off the season just as hot as the Rockets did, and have plenty of scorers. This game is gonna be a close one. It's too hard to say who'll win; I have the utmost of confidence in the Rockets but still.
