ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Mavericks 4/25/2005 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 2)

If we steal this game it would be Huge a 3 to 1 series lead,

we'll definatley drop one at home, the way we play there and the crowd -or lackthereof.

 

Yao is really tired out there, time for Deke to come in. Give Yao some rest.

We need the following substitution: Deke in to give Yao a break, and Barry in for Wesley to give us better ball rotation on offense and a legit outside shooter.

Wesley is just not a consistent shooter, he hasn't been all year

 

We need Mike James, Wesley is playing D but not hitting open shots. McGrady is being taken out of this game so far in the second half. We need to step it up!

 

Yeah exactly, Yao is keeping the Rockets in this with all the putbacks and the big 29 points, but we haven't heard from T-Mac enough. I'm not saying T-Mac isn't playing great, but he's not scoring as much as last game. He needs to turn it up a notch for the fourth. Looks like it's gonna right down to the last seconds, and I can't take that anxiety!

You shouldn't. We already won one there, and we can do it again.

Win or lose, I'm VERY concerned about how we're going to play at home.... sometimes we look great, but we can also look like the worst team in the NBA (although I doubt they won't bring the intensity for the playoffs).

Game 3 scares me more than tonight... although I do think this game is very winnable if we just start playing smart and with composure again.

Dallas got the lead with Dirk on the bench. That does concern me. We need more scoring from Wesley and James and Padgett to win.

 

We were outrebounded 21:34.

And Dallas were 8-10 from 3s just a few minutes ago.

Is it just me or does Yao looking winded? I think that we need to

rest him for the first part of the 4th and play Deke. We really

need Yao for the last 5mins or the quarter or unless things get

out of hand. Oh yeah, do something to block out Dampier!
