dirk and fin will bounce back but so will yao. the mavs won't get 42 freebies again, so thier supporting cast won't score as much.

it the rox take it to the hole and get to the line more than the mavs we will win again.

    ROX:109
    mavs:99

    GO ROX!!! GET #9!!!

Looking at it realistically it'll be tough to take both home games. However that won't stop me from picking Houston. Yao is due to have a more effective game. I can't see Dallas having a 20 free throw advantage again. Avery Johnson can't hang with JVG. The Rockets roll.

    Rockets - 99

    Mavericks - 89

Dirk bounces back, but Tracy goes off again and Yao contributes at least 18. School is in session again Monday night, as JVG puts on another coaching clinic. We'll finally start getting a little respect after this one.

I was watching uhh NBA TV last night..and they said Rockets upset Mavs..and they said that if Rockets take game 2 and game 3...then....you know what's gonna happen..it's gonna be hard for mavs to come back

So hopefully we win tomorrow and game 3. I think we can. Yao, Mike James, and Tmac are our primary scorers. Ryan Bowen defensive specialist :). Barry and Wesley knock down some shots and handle the ball and play defense. Dikembe great backup center. If Bowen gets into foul trouble..maybe put Padgett in. I think Padgett will play a little bit more today. He fits well against KVH.

Wesley can guard Stackhouse and Finley..but when they try to post him up..we should double and rotate.

I'd start Spoon on Dirk for game 2. Mostly just to throw a curve, but hopefully it will keep Dirk playing outside. Trying to turn Dirk into a jump shooter rather than use his all around game. If he "forgets" about his post up game, we will win the series.

This game now becomes the key game of the series. When teams steal one on the opponent's court in a playoff series they often relax thinking, "this is what we came for, win one." THE ROCKETS MUST NOT THINK THAT WAY!!!!! They must come out with the "killer instinct," and put the Mavs away. Coming back from two down will be difficult. Coming to Houston tied is not what you want, the Rockets have not distinquished themselves on the home court. Win Now! Think Mario's "kiss of death," think dagger, think sweep. Shoot Ming up with steriods, koolaid, coffee, what ever it takes and "take no prisoners!"

THis game is going to be an offensive nightmare on both sides....both teams will be "clamped" the entire game and no one's shot will fall.....

DIRK is a MVP level player and a OSCAR actor. he will bounce back huge in the 2th game. TMAC play 46 mins and look so tired after 3th qts. YAO must step up big!

dirk will play really well but will not feed his teammates in doing so he may go off for 40 but not many of the other mavs will show up. yao will play much better(i thought he played well i game 1 the minutes he was out there) and more of course. t-mac will get over 30 again and the rockets win again

    rockets 95 mavs 88
