F Carlisle! He and Cuban wanted to get Howard badly. When they couldn't, Cuban lied and said he didn't want him.

It's a concern. But the trade-off is the Rockets won't be exhausted and banged up like their eventual opponent. I'll take that.

Carlisle crying about reffing in presser, Dirk manning up and giving credit where credit was due and not pissing and moaning about refffing. He gained some respect from me for that !!! Hate Dirk, but think he is a monster player and while he is not the same player he was he is still pretty ****ing great.

Pisses me off that Carlisle is referring to one damn play (the Harris no call) looking for an easy excuse, they Mavs shot . Hey Rick you had damn near career nights from your 2 stars and still couldn't pull off a win, time to suck it up and realize you are 1-6 against this Rockets team and that's not all on the officiating dickweed. You are toast and you need to own it bro.

Don't worry. Although his mask still says "Mavs in 6", after Sunday's game he'll say "Mavs in 8".

Thought Howard did a good job of staying focused even with the physicality inside and not getting some calls.

He was consistent in getting rebounds, setting good screens for James, and hitting his FTs.

Great win! Just as it was pictured almost 2 years ago...Harden & Howard carrying the team to victory. Fortunately for us they now have some fantastic support - Brewer, Smith, TJ, Ariza all played big (although Ariza REALLY struggled with his shot...short all night).

Dallas probably has 1 more big push left in them, they will put it all out on floor Sunday. Rockets need to be prepared, hopefully with a better defensive game plan! I'd love to close it out in 4...

Let's not get overly cocky - our 2 stars needed career playoff highs to get the 2 point win. This Dallas team, even without Parsons, is just extremely difficult to defend, especially when our PG rotation consist of 2x 37 y/o's who can no longer move laterally.

Me neither the thrill is gone, even he knows its over and can't say much that is entertaining too avert the oncoming train... There is no way the Mavs win 4 straight it would defy the laws of probability. Poor Captain Jackass, there's always next year little douche...

I hear you, but for the Mavs to win 4 games in a row it would defy the laws of probability in such an astronomical fashion that it's just not happening...

Great "gut-it-out" win tonight. Even with Ellis and Dirk droppin' 34 apiece, we still had enough to take it.
The hack-a-Rocket blew up in their face. Dwight made four, Capela three and Josh two.
We saw the difference between Howard and Chandler tonight. One's a top-tier center and the other is a middle-of-the-pack center.
I'm still waiting to see T. Jones come alive. We'll need him against the Clips if we face them.

Can't be. It would have to be "Mavs in 9" after Houston leading 4-0 :)

Great win! Probably nitpicking here but really thought leaving Brewer in after the timeout late instead of subbing in Terry was a mistake, and almost cost us as Brewer only hit one of two. Terry def nails them both, and knowing the situation didn't get why McHale left Brewer in. Anyways, we got the win so can't complain too much
