Thank You for replying to me...Reason I thought it was sarcasm was because I saw the total minutes in the box score after the game went Final. When he came back in for the 4th, I didn't notice any limping from Howard; but I do understand your frustrations with McHale (trust me, I am beyond frustrated with him as well as you are) because it def. looked like he tried to sweep it under the rug.

this is false. I specifically remember Mchale pop up from the bench as they were going towards the rockets end of the court and continue to get the attention of Howard to check on him.

Yes, it is totally BS. The McHale haters are having a hard time finding something to criticize McHale over so they just make things up hoping to make something stick.

Great win...one of the most satisfying regular season wins in team history.

really like these points. Dwight's picks in the high PnR consist of him leaning over and tossing an elbow at the guard. it creates zero separation for Harden. as for the low PnR and the scoring when Harden's on the bench - i'd like to see Smith run it with Dwight.

in transition, i'm really hoping this and the Kings game were the result of tired legs. i don't remember us giving up obscene amounts of layups (whether transition or half court) at any other time in the season.

not sure i'm ready to give McHale credit for the small ball lineup. seems obvious that Carlisle forced him into it. of course it worked great, and i love the win, and i don't hate McHale. i'm just sayin'.

I'd welcome him back for a much lower contract.

LMAO you have a history of not being impressed with anything the Rockets do. Why don't you follow another team, that might make you a happier person.

For me, this season has shoved crow in all the Houston "fans" here who do nothing but complain about the ownership, the team and the front office. Before the season started these people were talking about how the Rox would have to fight tooth and nail just to get the 8th spot, now with the season almost done the Rox are sitting pretty at the 2nd seed.

Of course these people are now moving the goal posts and saying the regular season means nothing after they kept b****ing about losses the entire year, but IMHO if the Rox do flame out in the first round again it has more to do with the poor health of the squad and the tough competition than anything else, this season's Rockets are a heck of a team.

Good point about the low pick and roll with Smoove and Dwight. We haven't seen that wrinkle at all this season. I really do worry about Dwight's role on offense. Its hard to use him effectively if he isn't committed to setting good picks and rolling hard to the basket every time, whether or not he gets to finish the play. Like you said, his picks are crap and they really don't do anything. Capella actually sets good picks in the limited times I've seen him in the last few games.

SO they review James Harden's shot to beat the shot clock and make it 104-97 Rockets and declare it a no score because the shot clock expired.

My question is: If James Harden happened to have missed that shot, would they review it and not count it as a missed field goal against Harden since the shot clock expired?

As a NBA expert and statistical guru, those things affect me. It would ahve meant a lower field goal percentage for Harden and possibly resulted in him missing out on the MVP.

Should that be taken care by the stats guy, not the refs though?

Very good summary...and I pretty much agree. I do agree on Prigs and consider him one of DM's greatest unsung acquisitions. Having said that, however, the guy still hasn't adjusted to the 3-ball offense. He is way too slow to pull the trigger when he has the open shot. He needs to let it fly...and I'm sure the coaches are working with him on that.

    It was a great game.
