    I don't understand why when someone on this board places blame on Adelman, there's a group of rescuers that came to defend the coach.

    He's a log over there on the sidelines. He refuses to call timeouts until the opposing team has a big run. There are rarely good plays after the timeout.

    Most of all, his substitution pattern is ridiculous. He allows Scola to get abused by Nowitzki all game, and doesn't even attempt to try a lineup where Battier & Artest play at the 3 & 4. It's been shown that when you get a smaller, yet physical defender on Dirk, he curls up into a ball.

    I know I'll probably get someone on my case for bashing Adelman, but I'm just stating what I see from him.

    you mean go back to old style JVG offense where no matter what pound it inside to Yao, even if it takes 22 seconds, continue trying to get it into Yao?

    While everyone is blaming on the refs, I think Rockets are the ones to blame even though refs might helped a little bit. Remember this is Dalla's home court, and we got some calls early in the games too. Rockets need to wake up instead of sleeping walk on the court.
