Please beat Mavs, please

Man I haven't been so excited since game 7 of last years playoffs.

 

This is 17 tonight!!! It almost seems inevitable. Battier mentioned something that had not happened since the streak started, they were already focused on todays game after they beat the nuggets.

Here are the reasons I think they will give the mavericks a thrashing tonight.

This team has beat us the past 10-11 times, and five straight. They have seemed to have our numbers in the JVG years. They also are under a lot of pressure to win tonight (Dallas) which puts them under pressure; we already won 16, and entered the record books, dont have any pressure but more vengance, and the most important, MAKE BARKLEY EAT HIS WORDS on TNT (some of these analysts just dont know their stuff!!)

The rockets will be pumped tonight and would still have beat this team with Dirk, but WE DONT HAVE YAO either so eq balances, no excuses on both sides.

Rockets are playing the BEST TEAM BALL in the NBA right now, and I am proud of this team. My Analysis of the
Rafer deserves a lot of credit - He has responded well to critism and is playing at an elite level right now- top 5 PG in the league. He is the last man standing (MJ and SF have seemly vanished..ha!)
Deke - What can I say! This guy is currently more productive than SHAQ - wow!!! and just one of the all time Defenders this league will ever see - of course since 'Dream' that is. Please give the guy 2 more years (3M a year).This guy is better that 2/3 of the centers in the league at 42? unreal
Scola/Landry: Best 4 combo in the league and will probably be that way for years to come. Spurs must be crying every time they see 'the big Manu' go to work now, and Landry, Kept throwing them down, young man! just awesome hoops - Just on these 2 players Morey deserves GM of the yeah, oh but SF and MJ...lets forget that
TMAC - in his words; 'Deke has inspired me' : he is truly playing like the true star that he is and now really trusts his team makes. He really wants to win now and prove his critics wrong. I just hopes he stays healthy. He will come to play tonight - you can count on it
Battier - Defensive Player of the Year in my own books, any one second? dude just has High BB IQ. Noticed Yao went down and knew he had to be more offensive minded....why still taking the Best perimeter player of the opposing team every night....Every team needs an unselfish, team player like Battier. Memo to Josh howard tonight, " Please ask Melo, and Murphy about Mr Battier"
Luther: This guy is a legit back up for Tmac now, he is now so confident and probably shoots the 3 ball as good as Novak now. He has really improved and it was a good decision to pick up his option.
Bobby Jack is a veteran and he will play well tonight. He is much better than MJ or SF.

COACH RA: Coach of the Year, if we go 15 - 22 in the final stretch if you ask me. Either way, this Guys Princeton offense is the real deal. This team is just scoring with ease now, assisting well and very unselfish. This guy knows his stuff. I guess it is hard to key in on one guy if the ball keeps moving and the players keep moving as well. Props to the coach.

If we can some how beat New Orleans, this team can go for 20 - THEN THE LEAGUE WILL RECOGNIZE that this team really "HAS A SYSTEM, and THEY BELIEVE"

Game is still on despite the snowy weather. This is going to be a classic. Should be really fun to watch.

I can't imagine the feeling of losing anymore.... Which is why there will be no more L's on the schedule, only W's.

 

Damn, this winning streak is totally INSANE!!!

This guy goes crazy everytime that we play the Mavs.

 

Rockets just gotta play their hearts out. Unfortunately, even if they win, everyone will say the Dallas Mavericks were without Dirk and a Yao'less team still hasn't proven they can beat an "elite" team. If they lose, the notion wil definitely be the Rockets are not real contenders. So who cares what the media thinks. I think this team has the attitude to play like there is no tomorrow every game. Win or lose, they know how good they are and that's all that matters. I have faith they will win tonite!

 

WHO REMEMBERS THAT PUNK STACKHOUSE DUNKING IN THE FINAL SECONDS OF THE LAST GAME AGAINST US? I HOPE WE BLOW THEM OUT AND LET GERALD GREEN FINISH THEM OFF WITH A TOMAHAWK JAM IN THE FINAL SECS!!

DAMN i want rockets to win this game. rockets can't even get respect after winning 16 straight.

but even if we win tonight everyone will just say, well dirk wasn't playing. rockets still havent played anyone...

 

These guys will never give Rockets any credit....we all knew that, but they serously hate the Rockets. Barkley is almost guaranteeing the loss..lol. He also said Tmac doesnt make players better.'so what about the streak..they havent beaten anybody" These two guys are funny.
